Hello, I have designed the hardware, but before moving on to the software, I want to perform a few small tests. Can you help me? I designed the hardware according to the values specified in the datasheet and completed the PCB. I am applying +5V to the Up, Vn, and Wn pins, and connecting the Un, Vp, and Wp pins to GND. However, I don’t observe any movement, not even a slight vibration, on the PMSM motor. What could be the reason for this? Is this kind of test a proper method?

Power dissipation info is important, as you know from this what is the safe operating area, or we must be within the limit to avoid IGBT damage

Power dissipation parameters saves your time to calculate the limit of operating current and voltage for your device.

This is used for low speed applications, that's why. PCS layers is used for Gigabit Ethernets

Thank you for explanation, could you please tell me what is the role of the 4 resistors that you put in the VINRES pin? Thank you in adavance.

These are external resistor to connect with VINRES pin for energy sharing. If you wish not to use energy sharing feature, you can short this with VIN pin. also there are several applications circuits used in the datasheet, you can have a look. Thanks for asking, hope this is helpful

You can learn any PCB layout design tool like Allegro, Altium etc... This course seems to be a circuit design techniques along with schematic entry demonstration as well. Hope it helps

Ok, I understand. You can use one of the design from your book and put those values into the circuit parameters for getting your desired output voltage for buck converter. Hope this helps.🙂

You can work with R3 pot which is used for amplitude settings, However, I think you should get output waveform amplitude around 3V.

Waveform is ok but i have half supply voltage offset. I think i have promblem in R3, R5 before the amplitude setting. in schematic both are 5,1kOhm. Tomorow i will merasure :D
