Like! I am also a "Veteran" Nikon DSLR user. I've used (or owned) D70/s, D50, D200, D80, D90, D300/s, D7000, D710 & D610....... etc. Since I was work for a press media company during 2004 to 2020, we were very relied on Nikon DSLR / Flashlight & Tamron lenses. As of today, I still keeping the D200, D300 & D700; Tamron B005; AF-S 16-85 VR; AF-S 24-85 VR; AF-S 16-35/4 VR; AF-S 24-120/4 VR and Tamron SP 24-70mm VC (1st Generation). I always like to mount the AF-S 24-85 VR on the D200. As you know, since the image circle is much larger than the APS-C sensor dimension, therefore: The whole picture "from the center to the edge" would be pretty sharp.
