Kubo is a great movie ! I've only seen it once (on a blu-ray rental) but I immediately ordered the 4K after seeing it. I like the steelbook but I went for the 4K slip version in the end. The outer cover is ofc different but so is the disk art on both disks and you also get a little booklet. Both are really nice though and as I say it's a great movie !

Yeah, totally agree with Matt and AJ, custom is better. Really weird how actual studios can't seem to manage to make designs we all like.... It's the A.I rot, I think. Was watching a vid thins morning showing how Call of Duty is now A.I infested, characters ending up with 4 fingers or 6 fingers, heads and eyes are all like Sloth! Utter trash. Did like this film a lot! Was surprised how good it was. Andy was my favourite part of it as well. Fede Alverez did say he wanted the poster design to lean into the old style of the 80's films so maybe he was actually the one who designed this but I still like to blame A.I!

The amount of money these people have and they can't even be bothered to do some quality control on the trash made by A.I. Did you read what the plot is supposed to be now? Made to wrap up the Prometheus storyline so maybe David will be in it as well!

Wether or not your like the movie depends on your preferences. If you value a great story, you will like the movie. If you prefer the American MonsterVerse movie, it might be difficult to adjust because it's made more serious and it doesn't focus on non- stop action. I do love all the modern Godzilla Movies, starting with the 2013 Release. But Godzilla Minus One really grew on me since the first watch. If you have a surround system, it will be a blast for all scenes where Godzilla is on screen.

Nice pickups. Really likes Black Phone. But for some reason don’t feel I need to upgrade. I never saw past Shrek 2 The only Shrek I have is that first film steelbook. I did. Double dip on Godzilla. Steelbook and SE set 👌

It's meant to be a lot darker, so it's probably not worth the upgrade. That's the only Shrek films to watch.

Oh, you're Jonny. Thought Bond was incredible value for money. A lot of people weren't expecting it to be spot gloss and embossed, and all slips were like that. Hopefully, Escape will still be stock. It's much cheaper, too Appreciate all the support, thanks mate

I'd keep checking Ebay. Sometimes, you get a few sellers who want it gone quick, and they'll sell close to the original retail price. Also, check the Facebook physical media groups. Got a lot of stuff there OOP in the past

I time travelled to the future to reply to your comment! Really surprised me, heard a lot of talk of people getting private screenings of the transfer saying how amazing it was. Think T2 is getting a new one next year, hopefully with the extended cut, too. Sound was a huge highlight.

Yeah, the Atmos track was cracking on this and I was so glad to hear the original gun shot sounds on the mono track, they've always bothered me on the 5.1 tracks.

I came here thinking it was "The Bare Bitch Project"..... I'm disappointed.... Watched this the day it arrived after at least 10 years and it still hit me hard! The build up is excellent then the ending just rocks! Really impressive considering the budget and novice filmmakers. This set is super impressive, isn't it! Heather's notebook especially! Really hope your thumb heals soon my dude 😊

Sorry to have disappointed you master. 😂 I'm pretty surprised you like this film. Then again, you like cosmic horror. I didn't know what to expect when I first watched it but loved it too. Never had a disappointing Second Sight release. That was pretty packed with information. It's getting there, another few weeks. Going to be careful the next time I peel carrots 😂
