Our Service for Sunday, June 14, 2020 at St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal, Fort Bragg, CA. First time back doing a full Eucharist. It was a trial service to try our new measures to keep everyone safe. Only 14 people present.

It was more like 3. Tokay (exhibition), Merced, and Lincoln. Well don't blame it all on the director. It's also the effort that the students put into marching.

BARELY?!?! Go check out the scores with your band director and compare Tokay to Lodi's. Yup. Tokay is ahead by not 1 or 2 point. It's more like 6 and 7. Oh and the judges tend not to give you the crappy score you really deserve from a performance. They usually just give them low 80s scores or high 70s for the last place bands unless you're EXTREMELY pathetic. I believe that's where your scores were. And I also believe you guys weren't horrible, but Tokay was a lot better than you guys.

Ummm I don't think you realize that the Pride of Lodi doesn't refer to Lodi high School. It refers to the CITY OF LODI. So yes, Tokay could easily be the Pride of Lodi. and as a matter of fact, I believe they're The Pride of Lodi this year and for the upcoming years too.

When??? Oh that's right. LAST YEAR. Ok. I'm curently living in the present "JEY" and I usually don't like to dwell in the past. Just wait for this upcoming winter percussion and guard season.

If the Tokay band is better, then why did Lodi kick their asses at NCBA winter percussion AND guard last year? They were in a division LOWER than Lodi at NCBA finals as well. On top of that, Tokay had to borrow our equipment too.

Not bad for their 2nd review this year, new teacher and starting 7 weeks late. Just the way it was this year.
