Only those people that invested money on adani stokes are shiting their pants right now maybe. The thing is that Adani is not the entire Indian market and if it falls who care? He is not India. Well for the people that bought his stock goes down with him and that's it. If a stock is overvalued with their bullshit then why invest there. Personally I feel like many of the Indian stocks are in bubble territory. There's also that our regulatory board which is apparently a walking joke. It shouldn't even need geniuses to see that as how things are unfolding. The only thing that scares me is that the questionable behaviours of our top regulators. Hack, it should scare all of us, having questionable corrupted people on the top. Corruption, still is running deep down in our society, no matter how one tries to overlook the matter. In a business or in anything, profit and gain is not everything to look out for. It's also very important to see how things operate under any business and such. Unfortunately many of us doesn't care about the health of a business or organisation. And thus we end up breeding bubbles that could break foundations. These issues with adani and sebi was only a matter of taking appropriate actions and measures in due times which our authority didn't take, goes to show the lack of accountability on their part. On the other hand, Hindenburg is just doing what it supposed to do, which is to research and report and benefit. Short selling is not illegal. Thanks to Hollywood it's becoming a subject that have been completely misunderstood by many. Hindenburg has done many more reports even few days back on a US billionaire Carl Icahn and his firm and US authority (SEC) did what they supposed to do. I'd even go out to say that such shortselling firms such as Hindenburg are necessary even in our India. They do dig out the dirt underneath which is really important for a healthy economy in a country. I highly doubt that there's one in our country currently. Maybe we Indians are too accustomed to predicting the features. But none on proper reasearch and valuations. All in all, this matter is a big dud. And thus, slowly, I'm losing my trust in this country. It feels like a lost cause many times.
