It is certainly good, but still not on par with other support items, let alone stronger than radiant item. Awkward positioning, and a lot of clumping make it easy to eat aoe and cc, and Bard has to be at 3rd row not 4th row easier to die. Just get other tank support item or big gem it will be better.

The double range-passive is the only part working on Syndra, so it's kind of a waste to give her that much range if she's going to get stuck into tanks after the first kills.
