Hi, I do prefer the real CT-A9. It is direct drive and less belts to be replaced in the future. According to the quality, I see no big difference.... My personal view is that Clear CT-A9 is better deal... Wish you success... And enjoy this my favourite Pio cassette deck... :)

Oh yeah. I like Chris Rea, I have this album on my computer, and there is an album "Shamrock Diaries" on the cassette, its speed is faster and the key is higher from +0.8

The first one, 9D is belt driven, and the second one is direct drive... ;)

@@anastastroianski1417 At the beginning of the 80's W&F(WRMS) 0,018% :) CT A9D remaind me Aiwa Excelia 009 :) Beuutiful i elegant line, style with wooden panels. CT 91a, CT 93 my favs. P.S. Interestingly, these models from the early 80s had such accurate, precise peak level meters, more accurate than the CT 939, 959, CT 91 / 91a
