Thank you. The one or two comments I get every few years really mean a lot to me. It makes me think about how fun AMVs were and the projects I never finished. At least film editing became a part of my career. It’s b-roll editing for news broadcasts, which isn’t nearly as extensive or interesting, but at least I did something with it. I’m so glad people are still watching my old stuff.

So I am relatively new to fate but this made me love the series cause it encapsulates the feeling of the series, I just get chills right when caster is going on his rant, mixed with the editing makes it far more impactful than even the show at points

also whats up with you wanting to not wanting them to achieve their dreams. is it sonething inside your own thoughts that the world is fucked up and seek gratification from series? idk man but i think your reason for disliking the ending is very personal which is ok btw lol but it actually makes sense but you dont know if you dont know the gfriend origin story. but you really dislike the whole series more because of the ending lol
@jerom75067 жыл бұрын
"i dont think haseo is that important" i dissagree lol. i wanna say much more but difficult in yt comments lol but ill try to either way. also your sure you dindnt tear up when suji was crying with the shoes i watched it with 2 of my friends and we all teared up. tgat was such a powerfull scene. also they werent that polular so there werent that many people that knew and this performance was the end of their promotion and if a group doesnt get recognition will flop. thats the truth. but honestly this ending isnt as bad as you make it out to be they said that during the stage they had a slip accident which went viral and actually got people to look into the group itself. (the whole viral slippery stage thing actually is a real thing btw thats how gfriend came into the spotlights) so i actually liked that little nod to them also this way they kinda set themselves up for a second season if there ever comes one. but i can agree that joungjoo getting her vocal cords back is kinda weird but loops back into their 2nd season plan. also i really wanted suji and producer to just kiss goddamnit they insinnuate it the whole fucking last episode but doesnt happened made me kinda mad lol but thats about it lol have fun reading this. and i personally would give this ending 8/10 peace✌

I'll try my best to address everything. For starters, I don't have a big issue with Haseo's arc being so late into the series as I don't really have any kind of alternative in my own mind if I tried to fix the series. But as an aspiring writer myself, a lot of technical elements in writing is stuff I pay attention to. Haseo is good character, but I wouldn't put her at the level of Suji, Youngjoo, and Shinhyuk as the main drivers of this story. Seeing that play side by side with the larger scandal story simply made me feel like the pacing of the story was being thrown off. But like I said, they saved her arc for being so late into the story that even I don't think I would change it. If anything, I'd just want her arc to be a little shorter. Yeah, I didn't cry over the shoes. That's not anything against the show though. Sad things don't make me cry, but happy things do. It's like when Youngjoo hugged Suji back on Christmas. Yes, it's very sad that Suji could never see her sister again, but what got me to cry was Youngjoo being there for her. We knew for a while that Suji had felt alone and lost, but all of these girls are there for her like her sister was. I cry when I feel overwhelmed by the beauty of scene. Similarly to how I was about to in the finale if the girls actually didn't make it. The beauty would have been in the journey and how they all became better people because of it. The success story was never important to me. Well, of course I know they aren't popular. When did I say they were? I'm not sure what you're trying to debate with me by bringing that up, but just for the record, I wasn't ever trying to imply that I think more people should show up. All I ever said was that I wanted this show to really mean something to the few people who did show up. Even if something like that did happen in reality, I can't over how silly it seems. It's not the first time I've heard something like that. Like in The Wire, at one point, a character jumped out of building from a really high height and survived as he landed. As I complained about it, I was greeted with "here's the story of a guy who's done that before". And good for the guy in reality, but it just seems too odd from the perspective of a critic. There's a few things I'd want to see a second season cover, so I'm not against the idea. Finally, no, I have nothing against them achieving their dreams. I've said time and time again that I wanted them to over the course of these reviews. The happy ending isn't the problem, it's the time at which it came. I wanted callbacks to the arc of every character and them acknowledging how they've all changed into being better people. And I thought within that moment when the series psyched us out for no reason, it would have. Suji says that's the last time they performed together on stage, but it obviously wasn't. It got my hopes and expectations up for some kind of message that the show was about to deliver about why it's always worthwhile to chase your dreams no matter the result; because one thing will always be true, you absolutely will always grow and mature for doing so. I don't see that in this ending. Them being successful does not do enough for me to acknowledge the importance of their journey. I brought up the original iDOLM@STER anime a lot at the end here because I feel like it's still the definitive formula to telling this kind of story. The girls became successful early on in the story to get it out of the way so the characters could come to ahead and be the true focus. And the ending for a lot of their stories was bittersweet, but you saw just how important each of their journeys was to them and how much it changed them. That was the beauty in it - them being able to accept they couldn't get what they wanted and what other paths they took to make up for that. I was hoping KR could do just that and be even better, but flopped right at the very end for me. A second season could change that give me what I wanted, but I won't that until I see one. And just for the record, I didn't like the ending of Haruka's arc in the original anime either until the movie came out. Sequels can fix things. So yes, I would look forward to a second season if we got one.

in some way i kind of feel for that stalker. he just has an intense love for kika. he is making the pictures and putting em online. and most i do in a day is looking at other peoples pics of the girls on twitter and ig 😂😂 if i was in korea i would go to all events of them haha😅. but wouldnt go as far as that guy😂

I guess I would try to see them as often as possible too. lol And the dude ain't acting too much out of the realm that you could see a paparazzi guy doing, but then he'd probably also be trying to get pictures of all of them. He sure is in that awkward spot in between his job and an overzealous fan. Makes me think about who are the ones taking the pictures of the real girls in our reality though. I see Suji retweet pictures of herself a lot, and I haven't until now contemplated where they come from.

Haseolove Be our guest, but our reviews of episodes 1-7 or so aren't as easy to find. You'll see us reviewing those episodes in our Aniggas podcast videos. We crammed episodes 8-11 into our episode 11 review video though once we decided it was more worthwhile to review KR on its own. We have a lot of fun making these, so thanks for the comment. Unfortunately, episodes 14-16 will have to be grouped together again as I had to leave home for two weeks. We would of had time to review episode 14, but Amazon was late with its release of that episode.

I decided to come back and re-watch your Fate/Zero trailer (which I hadn't watched in a while). I decided to check out the rest of your channel, which, for some reason, I'd never seen before. You have a talent for AMVs man! This Code Geass one kicks ass and, just like the F/Z one, makes me feel like re-watching it all over again. Good job dude!

+Alberto Perez Thanks. I certainly used to have more. I've been making videos on KZbin since 2009, but YT made sure to leave no evidence of those as I've gone through maybe 4 channels now. Maybe I would join the whole #WTFU movement, but as you can see I haven't really put anything out since the F/Z trailer. And I think trailers are where of my passion lies for now as I have a list of several shows I'd want to make one for, but I have one or two AMV ideas I may or not go through with when I work up the time and will to make them. Biggest problem isn't YT at all though, but really more so that I have to dedicate a lot of time to rewatching all the series I want to work on to get the best clips and/or dialogue.

Drake Chandler Aaahhh I see. I understand the feeling all too well. Happened to me on my own channel, where I used to post guitar stuff years ago. At some point, my creative endeavors got overshadowed by life in general, and I stopped altogether. I still have ideas and things I want to do, but it's a side of me that's taken the backseat in the priorities department. I do have plans to start again at some point though. I hope you do the same. I'll definitely keep an eye out for things that you may put up! :) And I hope KZbin doesn't give you too much trouble. Hopefully some day you'll be able to put up some of those old AMVs. (Maybe another hosting service? Vimeo, or something, though I have no idea how their intellectual property and copyright policies work.)
