My oldest brother had one and I would commandeer it early in the morning to do my paper route while his 6ft 3 inch frame slept. I t was unbelievable so quick and fun to drive . wish I had one now.

that was no spyder. no reflective plastic above glove box, no spoilers or fender flares, no spider jewel in the steering wheel... i can spot a phony a mile away. i owned a 78 monza spyder came with a v6, my dad and older brother built a small block v8 for it. bad ass little car. silver with black interior, cragar sst's, really wide tires, it screamed and i got to drive it back and forth to seattle 4 times.. awesome drives.

I'm sorry to disappoint you, but this is undoubtedly an original and well-preserved Monza Spyder with Swiss first registration. The numbers match and the original purchase documents are also present and testify to the Spyder package ordered. With the Monza Spyder, a distinction is made between the Z01 Spyder equipment package, the Z02 Spyder appearance package and the Z29 Spyder equipment package, which consists of Z01 and Z02. The Z01 was installed in this car and only a few selected options from the appearance package were ordered in addition.

Beautiful pristine exterior. Interior has a few glitches. Wood laminate is too dark. Inside door handles are installed incorrectly as they should point slightly up not slightly down from the center out. The rear seat looks like original leather but front seat looks cheap like vinyl or undrained leather.
