Hi Tayna! Your channel just popped on my feed and just watched your latest Flosstube, now I have to go back and watch your previous ones as I really enjoy watching fellow Canadian stitchers. Don't know how one does full coverage as it seems soooo daunting to me however an intense Mirabilia or Longdog is right up my alley. I have ordered from 123 Stitch but I find Traditional Stitches in Calgary have faster and reasonable shipping rates for us 🇨🇦s and a really good selection. Keep well!

There is Stitch it Central here in Canada same idea as 123 stitch. I put a order in 10/15/23 and still waiting. Two out of three charts are on back order.

Hi Tanya! Your channel just popped up on my feed. I am in Edmonton and I started my working career in Corrections as well before I moved on to other government work. I am retired now, a little more than a year and I highly recommend! 😄I love to start projects and would describe myself as a process stitcher, too. I stitch a variety of charts but I am an Aida stitcher except for full coverage which I usually stitch on 25 count Lugana. I also love to read, cook and garden. Take care and see you next time! You have more done than I do though. 😊 I’m also doing the European Town. wow are you brave jumping into all those counted projects. I have all the materials for the Deadly Aquarium but I feel I need to grid it or I will mess up, but it’s hand died fabric which I can’t wash afterwards.

I had the same problem moving from 20 count easy grid to 25 count. The stitches seem to "slip" into the next square so my stitching looked awful. I stitch in hand and found that I can mitigate that problem by using a hoop. I must say though, that for full coverage, my sweet spot is either 18 count or 20 count. I love your projects and your enthusiasm!!

Another enjoyable floss tube! Like you I do stamped cross stitch but I would like to try counted I’ve got 2 small ones & a bit bigger one to try The 2 small ones are just bookmarks Had trouble with one of them as the holes are a lot smaller & the lighter colours not only didn’t show but I found trouble seeing the holes! Old eyes! I ended up changing colours so it’s a bit better We’ve had a lovely day today I’m in Scotland so who knows what tomorrow’s weather will bring! Congrats on your up & coming nuptials enjoy the day when it comes!

Thanks for sharing your WIPs. I love the fox and rabbit Sal and have been collecting the parts for a future start. I think your fabric and floss choices for it are fabulous! That’s going to be so stunning. I don’t know if it’s correct or not, but I did hear the opposite about Joy Sunday, so you might want to take care there. I don’t know for sure. I’m not as brave as you I’ve just come back to cross stitch & I’m just doing stamped at the moment I’ve got 1 counted cross stitch that I’m going to start after I finish this project Stitching dragons My brother was an artist like you & I loved watching the subjects come to life on the canvas! I just wish I’d found cross stitch during the pandemic, although I did get a lot of knitting done!
