I suffer from chronic migraines too. They are awful, and March and April have been especially horrid; spring is not my friend. My neurologist has suggested the Botox shots, so I’m trying them this next week. I hope next week is better for you!

I feel like there should have been a "But wait there's more!" somewhere within this video! lol My 2024 lineup started with 8-10 planners and now I am only using one of them and it still isn't my one and only planner that it was intended to be when I bought it in Sept. and I am still not using all of it, but that may still change during the year. I'm currently setting up planner #567 for 2024 (ok, SLIGHT exaggeration there, maybe...) as I am completely revamping my planning system back to what worked for me about 25 years ago and adding a portable planning aspect to it which, of course, wasn't one of the already setup 2024 planners!

You are not nuts! I was kinda struggling with solidifying my lineup because I wanted to simplify for 2024 but wanted to do all the things! I’m going to be in a compact sweet freckled designs og compact for my EDC/ carry-all (shipped), a5 Bujo for journal (currently in an exceed Bujo (I’m going to use this one I’m in up first and then celebrate using it up by getting the Amanda Rachlee swirls dot grid notebook), a passion planner for my home hub for my family, a pocket rings for budgeting and cash envelopes, a5w for PR AND memory keeping, and a5/half letter discs for resources and collections… that don’t sound simplified AT ALL! 🤣 THANKS FOR SHARING! 🌟 🤠

Same. I like the simpler look of the hobonichi but I HATE the daily pages!!! I don't need a whole page for a day, so it's just a waste of paper and space for me. I wish there was a version without the daily pages.

Thanks for this comparison! Question - I’m a newbie to both kinds of paper...I love my gel pens (grip matters to me for pens because I have chronic tendonitis in my wrist & elbow). Have you tried gel pens in both planners? I’m not a huge fan of the feel of fineliners in my hand. I’m worried about spending the money on either of these and then have massive smearing or that Braille-like digging thru to the next page (I’m super heavy handed too. 😬) Thanks! 💜

great video! I think we might be planner twins. lol! I'm switching from a Hobo A5 to Jibun A5 right now. Though I love the Hobo a5, I didn't really need the entire daily page regularly. They are too big for bujo daily logging, and too small for journaling. So I switched to the Jibun so I have free space in the Idea book for as much or little daily bujo. I hated not using all that nice paper in the Hobo dailies. Also 100% agree with you on the Jibun Biz paper quality! No warping with my heavy writing and friction pen erasing!!
