I just bought the game after a month, love this. I downloaded it to test if it worked in my PC. It barely does but enough for 4v4. And i want more of this.

Altough Toast run his build very nicely up to the IV age, his micro skills were terrible when it came to fight in russian base, especially with targetting culverins - he could either try to hit them with heavy cannons and soldado (all in) or focus as much as he could on destroying strelets/musk (heavy cannons would do much more damage). Also later with garrochistas - great shipment, but should be targetting cannons first, even trying to sneak behind at first minute. But charging musks head on... Terrible.

I had this way worse yesterday. Revolt in 8min undestructable canons with it too. Totally stupid, i uninstalled the game i am done with only being able to play reactive with the dutch anyway.

You can still play the game. Dutch has really good turtling with colonial militia, 2 outpost card and a hidden market somewhere on the map, you should be able to beat it with CM.

I might be wrong on this but I think there are no musk cards for Spain at all (except for the advanced arsenal if you wanna count that). So it might be better to commit to rodeleros when the timing is gone.

Too many toxic build orders going on in age of empires 3. High level players abuse the game with these kinds of strategies making the game no fun.

@@fxmorin439 too many toxic pro players in age of empires 3 abusing the game and spamming. Also too many toxic people calling others noobs for not being as good or on the same level as them. The word is just used to troll. Since the game became free to play there has been plenty of beginners. They are still learning the game. Maybe the game should not allow mixed level players to join team games or 1v1 in mltiplayer to give it more balance. Maybe it should have different categories based on levels. That's probably why they are complaing. It's pretty obvious if one team has more higher level players than the other that it would be unfair. Since when is complaining about facts toxic?

@@fxmorin439 oh and you want to hear another one? There are players that create new accounts then appear to be beginners and join games. You can't tell if the player is a low or high because they don't have any stats. That too makes the game unbalanced because if it's a high level player it affects the balance of the teams.

@@redeyewarrior i hear your concerns. One can smurf in all age games. There needs to be an easier way to track accounts online. There is a file one can delete on one''s pc that sets one's level back to 0. Still it is a relief there are many new players. Let's be kind to them.

@@geoffwitt4227 the multiplayer games are also extremely unbalanced due to various different level players. I don't know if devs can do something about that but it would be nice if the game had a inbuilt feature that knows the players level of skills and refuses them to play against a higher or lower level player or team. This way the game would be much better as team games would be much more balanced with the same level players. So for instance if tere should be different groups in team games that show each group elo and a player will only be allowed to join the games in the group that matches his elo. I don't know if you understand what I am suggesting and if devs could possinly do this but it would really be a game changer.

young gamers are not intrested in RTS games , by making these games kinda expensive ( I mean AOE 4) doesn't help with reviving AOE games, a free to play model like with limited civs and limited multiplayer and limited capmapign and making them buyable as DLCs is the best strategy I can come up with.

There are several trash lamer things allowed in this game, but somehow with good cards one can destroy plans without moving to age IV...

What was that Hero-War, any 'Can't Click Hero Bugs'? That was, just shouldn't happen! Also can people link mods or mod-placements... like the essentials & nice to haves. I've done AoE II since March (a bit earlier), then AoE IV is funky... but streamer/friends & I play, then AoE III I only played the WarChiefs a long time ago. For the other 2 games - especially II, there are enough resources on which mods to get, but for III I haven't seen too much.
