Depending on your location, the masonry stores near you will have their own names and quarries where they get the stones.

Please visit SiteOne.com to find more gravel details. Gravel is local and depends on the mines that are in your area.

@@catinahammock6542 So it's based on what's mined in a particular area? Well I need 1" bulk stone delivered, and I hear they mine gold in Nevada. So although it's a long way from Nevada to my place in Delaware, I'm willing to pay $150/ton _PLUS_ an extra $2,500 delivery fee if you can bring me 3 tons of 1" loose, clean, solid gold rock. I'm thinking I can maybe resell it for a bit of a profit..... Seriously though, I'm in need of 5-6 tons of river rock(Newark Delaware), but I'm not 100% sure of which size is correct. I see images of what's advertised as 1-1/4", but half of the stones look significantly larger than that. I took a photo of the existing river rock that the customer had installed 15 years ago, and I added a dime and a nickel for scale, but hell if I can figure out how to copy & paste a photo here into YT's comment section!
