This band was absolutely underserved while they were primarily active in the underground pop scene by critics working in the zine sphere. This shit is so good and ageless.

@@zukipower9960 Uhmmm, okay? So you waited 32 years to really show them what you think of them on a random KZbin video? You sure showed them! Oh and I also play music so using your logic I also have impeccable knowledge of when music sounds like they're, what was it you said? Oh yeah, shovels and hammers or something.

I just found this video and noticed it’s already 11 years old. Looks like a lot of time was put into this documentary. I was part of this music scene for 6 years playing in all the clubs but then left to live and play in LA came back to San Diego and back in the music scene until 2005. Ive played in every club since I started playing in the basement of the old Soma Club at 555 Union St. Let me say this… this video only covers maybe 20% of the San Diego scene. I was a drummer in a 3 piece band from 1990-95 but we were in a different clique of San Diego bands but played all the same clubs. people always thought we were visitors from LA because how we used to dress and also bring down bands from LA like The Nymphs. A lot of these bands highlighted in this documentary were actually pretty bad at playing their instruments LOL! Except Rust whom we used to play shows with. I remember being on the same bill as Trumans Water in Ocean Beach and I just couldnt believe my eyes and ears. It was the worst sound you could ever hear while beating the crap out of their instruments. Nothing was in tune and total racket with feedback. I will never forget that. Unfortunately, we can never do a reunion show since our singer passed away from cancer 12 years ago.

I expect 100% break dancing that never stops. Loved these guys from the first second I heard them. That’s how it was and how it will always be. Depends on how you define “break dancing” to a certain extent. There was dancing, to be sure.

But nobody thinks it's strange that all these people reincarnated with so many nation's of the world they all inhabitatied bodies born only in America.
