I'm so sorry that happened to you....that woman was so out of line. Over the years, I've had my dog(s) attacked by loose dogs while we were out walking (my dogs are always leashed) and it's terrifying, especially when I had small dogs. I don't know why people insist on letting their dogs roam about like that, especially on unfenced, shared property. Well done on getting your orders packed, despite all of the upset! I'm sorry that happened to you. I totally understand your reaction. I've been shaken by people's random acts of rudeness or aggression too. It's hard to shake off. Try to think of all the good people and good interactions and feel free to lay all the crazy on that neighbor. Unfortunately crazy can't be avoided but know that you are truly appreciated.

That woman was way out of line, especially when she's right at your back door like that. Your mum's right; she was trying to intimidate you to distract from her own neglectful behaviour. And you weren't wrong to feel that way-it's awful to have an aggressive encounter sprung on you in your safe space like that.

Nice job fulfilling so many orders! I hope your neighbor starts leashing her dog. I don't think there's a fair way to justify her behavior. Even if she were embarassed, you were stressed and managed to not be rude, so there's no reason why she couldn't do the same.

USPS just increased their prices I think in the last week or 2. Aw I'm sorry that happened. Maybe you can see if you can record it next time and if she comes that close again, then maybe you can report her to town or something. I have no words about that neighbor…you don’t just sit and watch as your dog 1 goes into someone’s space and 2 clearly is in the way…because if your dog bit hers she would’ve been blaming you when in fact it would’ve been her fault🙄Leash laws are here for a reason! I can completely relate to you, Sarah. I’m quite the introvert and being an author can be so isolating. You go through the hard times and the good times, mostly alone. Motivation and discipline are key, but not always the easiest. By the way, I am reading your new book and I’m liking it a lot so far. I’m a bit of a slow reader, but when it comes to your books, I tend to finish them quicker. They just are completely my type.

Dont stop doing things! You can always make friends while you're out. I've talked to people while sitting at B&N and become friends with them!

That’s so weird. When I order from vistaprint they’ve always come in separate boxes but also I’ve only done business cards. Which reminds me I really need to order more.
