I put the system on my big block chevy build. Since I have dual tanks (86 C10) I went with a FiTech surge tank to feed the EFI. Any safe suggestions for regulating the fuel pressure down from 56 psi to 43. I was fouling my plugs under the misconception that the Pro-Flo 4 would automatically regulate the fuel pressure.

I use a magnafuel regulator and fuel system. Good that you caught the problem. These EFI systems without a CEL are a lot of "figuring it out" sometimes.

wow im sure glad i watched your vid . i had no idea there was a plate that has the marks for zero or 50 i set mine up at 50 only going by how holly tells you to set it up and there no mention of having a zero setting . my motor seems to run ok only on the higher end but fall on its butt coming out of the hole im running a 351 stroker w an 88 mm turbo w/ a c6 trans with a trans brake no matter what i do i can get it to even come close to spin the tires for a burn out it hits like 2800 and grunt n grones but wont gain anymore RPM the motor itself without boost has 550 hp and it should be able to get them spinning but wont . so with that being said in the holly program is there other settings for advanced timing it acts like its not getting advance . but with that plate you showed if i set it at zero thinking it was 50 i think you answered my question. guess i will dig back into it and look thanks man for posting this vid very informative Bill in Nevada

If you have a holley controlling the timing you should do a static timing check with a timing light

Did u throw a light on the dash by chamce? I did this with mines and when my low heams are on my hi-beam indicator light is on and off when the hi-beams are actually on, like it flip flopped it

No, I didn't. You wired yours the same way I did? My high beam dash light only came on when I had all 4 lights in high beam mode. The dash light worked just like before.

I can't remember my first mod to the stock block. Probably upgrading the carb. Yours is EFI tho right? I think you should start with a new cam and intake. Heads will open it up a lot, but usually have a higher price tag than the first two.

I tried one of those by 30 years ago was hearse vatic set up. They’re all set up for Chevys for the gate wasn’t just right ratcheting it would either go in the first but just not quite ratchet into Second. I think they had too much play in the cableand B gates distance internal distance was for GM

It works...mostly. That could be why it doesn't a little bit of the time. It's only been 3 or 4 times and I've had it for years. I'll keep it unless I get fast enough for an air shifter 🤣🤣🤣

Small note . That plate on the inside of your valve cover slows down the internal pressure and makes the slime collect just like a catch does. Try removing it if you are dumping that side to a catch can.
