I have a connecting flight with 1h 15min layover. Arrival and departure in LHR is from Terminal 5. Do you think that‘s enough time? I fly from Hamburg to London to Washington D.C

If you booked it all on one ticket, through one airline then, yes. If there is a flight delay and you don’t make it on time to connect it’s then the airline’s responsibility to sort it out and get you on the next flight. If you have booked tickets separately with different airlines then I would not risk having less than 2 hours to connect.

Yes, everything has gone up. This time especially, I noticed that hotels were significantly more expensive. I hope it’s just due to it being high season. I agree, a car is not necessary.

Very soon this whole area within a radius of 30 K will be fairly packed with people from J,burg . Sea point is a place to walk around to get the feel of the place. I always stayed on High Level rd which gave one beautiful views as far as Robbin Island.
