Trey is on another level. Compare this to any dead and co performance for example and you can see he how special he is. Not to say John Mayer is not a good guitar player but he (and most other guitarists) can’t make this sound nearly as good. Trey plays the entire song beautifully without any cringy jerry-solo-ruining blues notes that most others inject and ruin the gd magic. I think Trey is a virtuoso jazz guitarists that happens to play rock and roll I think that has a lot to do with his note choices & why he’s able to jam so well and understand / replicate jerry’s playing style

Sucks that this was the start to of a very awful year of everyone turning their brains off. Some of you still haven't turned your brains back on yet. Trey said it himself. The fear is an illusion, so take off your mask. Both figuratively with pretending to be someone else and also with pretending a piece of paper did anything.

this has NOTHING on any random early '90s Trey solo. I can barely listen to this. He misses SO MANY NOTES. I mean, I can easily play this solo. I could learn it in an hour. But give me any random early '90s solo and I can't fvcking tough it with a 10-ft. pole.

It was a hard ticket at a small venue- everyone was so filled with ENERGY for the opener and Mike had visited Weekapaug that day and left the Willy Wonka ticket hidden in weekapaug.

We were on the balcony that night. The entire platform was bouncing up and down. I remember becoming very aware snapping out of the grip of silly syban and wondering if we would be the next tv news story of collapse. For only just a second it crossed my mind but was quickly forgotten by the incredible vibe and nostalgia of being at a show finally after a bad experience in 9/4/91 at Richfield coliseum when Ohio made examples out of many dead heads by using the parking lot as a trap to crack down on dead heads and lsd. This show July 3rd was reconnection with self. I felt fly as a mutha phucka and the following night 4th of july chicago has this long bridge. Fireworks were blazing on each side the air was thick with smoke it looked like a acid war. Colors, loud bangs, smoke, and dim lights from the city below us. That was best time i ever had crossing a bridge. Our crew was heading to camp for the night. Wanted to share a energetic vibe and let it ripple into the masses. BM said. Speak Happiness its sad enough without our woes. Give some love ❤️ this to keep the Ripple in still water

Imagine John M playing regularly with Jake. I’ve seen 130 Glory’s (not this one) and it might be my favorite. Madison 11/3/06 and the Prowler> Glory’s from 04 & 05 up there as well.
