Yes, he knew what he was doing. Just like when he said you should give away everything you own to help those less fortunate than yourself. Really wish a lot of people would abide by that nowadays. But we live in a societal age where people can pick and choose the parts of the Bible that they agree with, and ignore everything else that’s in there that they don’t agree with. Blasphemous if you ask me.

Did you know the number of churches with 501C3 tax status has been on the increase during the last few decades? Coincidence? What is the cost of that status? Are there unpopular, Biblical subjects a church won't talk about in order to keep it? Is there information about the congregation members the church is required to give to the government in order to keep it or qualify for it? Honest questions that deserve open and honest, transparent answers, in my opinion. Because, Christians might be leery, rather than too neglectful to attend.

Because Christian’s are often so cold and not welcoming. They feign kindness but only accept their own group. I’ve never experienced more alienation than in the church
