I’m a newer fan of Queensryche. I’ve done a lot of research and thought I knew it all. What. The. Fuck. Is this? What the hell were Eddie, Michael, Scott, and hell, Parker even thinking about this tour? They must’ve been embarrassed to even be seen nearby Tate. No fucking wonder he got fired. Todd La Torre rules. Saw them back in April, and even got to be their singer for about 1.5 seconds during En Force. Best moment of my life. Tate could’ve never done that. Long live the Ryche. Also, I wanna know what Chris’ thoughts were when he heard about this. I’d imagine he laughed his ass off and then cried a little thinking about how far the band he built had fallen.
@paisleyprincess79964 күн бұрын
Saw them in October…They seem happy to be there, and cohesive. Yes Geoff is missed be they’d be toast had they not fired him. I’m 50 years old, long time fan. Chris knows how he is, so I’m sure he wasn’t surprised by all this

Imagine what was going through poor Rockenfiekd, Jackson, and Wilton’s heads while doing this. Here they worked for decades and in their prime created timeless music, only to watch everything they worked hard for implode before their eyes. They look like they want to cry...All because they were afraid if they objected to this Geoff would leave the band He looks like a drunken Anton LaVey playing in Reno. It’s cringe
@metallion07382 жыл бұрын
The problem they got is that they were lazy and let Tate and his wife take over the band, you don't let a band member take over, it's a lazy and dumb move, especially continuing doing so knowing back than were the band was going, it's their fault as well to certain extent.

I remember a friend once made a post about something to do Geoff and someone posted. "A once brilliant egomaniac." I fill grasp that state after seeing a little bit of cabaret.
@paisleyprincess79964 күн бұрын
@@Atreyufolife Why all of the let that cabaret shit go down is beyond me. Chris left because his family was more important than an imploding band…Yet he was the only one who could have stood up to him, because he was the strongest one to do it. The other ones probably weren’t as lazy as they didn’t have the strong personalities to stand up to Geoff…But once they did, they pulled it back together. Just saw them in October, and they were good. Those songs were made for Geoff, and his loss is palpable, but they are better without him

Ace of Spades They could’ve pitched the vocals up. The studio track also has several different vocal tracks going at once with lots of reverb, probably to cover up any obvious vocal flaws. Steven also might just not give a shit...

Whether people like this type of presentation is subjective. Personally I don't mind a little theatre in rock. What guy doesn't like to look at hot chicks parading around half naked? As far as Geoff's voice, while it's not as strong as when he was in his 20's, I don't think he lost his entire voice. He is 50 for Christ's sake. I've seen Robert Plant live in 2002 and it was the worst thing I've ever seen. Just saw Judas Priest and Rob's voice wasn't near what it was back in the day either. People get old.

For a Cabernet show I will go to a cabaret show and not a prog metal concert, and 2 it's everyone's fault in the band for letting Tate and his wife take over the band because they were naive and lazy as well, and 3 Tate 7 years ago was 53 but smoked too, in your 50's a person can still sing as strong as in their 20's if good singing habits occur like not drinking and smoking heavily, at 60 there is an inevitable voice diminish by nature no matter how well you take care of your voice box. I know this was 7 years ago but needed to reply to your comment which is correct to a certain extent.

God...whatever happened to the Queensryche that was a powerful, progressive, hard rock-metal megaforce releasing albums like Rage For Order, Operation MindCrime, even Empire? This is where Tate wanted this band to end up?? A cabaret act with him as headliner/comedian and ultimate star? OMG The other guys had to be be cringing while this was going on. And Tate wonders why they moved on with Todd LaTorre? Then the song finally starts and he can't hit the notes in the higher register? This goes from bad to worse and he acts like he just doesn't care. How sad is this?
