Lacy J was a household name in my childhood home and the reason I started singing. Knew every word of every song and would try my damndest to mimic her tone, but alas… it’s hers alone 🥰

Wow!! Those late 80's and early 90's albums had quite a few gems on them. It was nice to revisit them here and hear some other song choices that were picked. I feel my musical palate has been enriched by the Eva Cassidy and Bonnie Raitt selections... and others.

That was outstanding, makes some really good points in a light hearted way. We need more protest song like in the 1960s. I just posted one I wrote but it isn't half as good as yours.

I'm Ginny Mitchell's niece. You and have met a few times, though I can only recall one time (I guess I was too young before that time lol). I have always loved your music. I was thrilled to come across your videos here. I'll have to share them for sure! This is a great song. 💚💜💚

I was getting worried KZbin hasn't been giving coverage of you since the holidays. A beautiful song from a beautiful person! I wish someone would upload this past years Christmas concert of yours. Was concerned about you, your town and band members during the recent snow storms in your area. 💕
