I saw him in concert with Sting and it was the best experience I’ve had at a concert.

I love you both, but my god, THAT’S WHY IT’S CALLED TAKE FIVE!! Because it’s in 5/4 meter. I mean, I don’t expect Howard to know that but Billy, c’mon man! Also, you’re talking about odd time signatures as if nobody ever used them before or since. You used one, Billy. You reference it a lot when you talk about “Piano Man,” right? “It’s a waltz” you always say. Yup, it’s a waltz, which is an odd time signature, just like “Take Five.” It’s not really that hard to wrap your mind around. Again, I love you, and have ever since I was a small boy, but my goodness, man! WTF?!

I heard this a few times years ago, now I realize this must have been inspired by The Guess Who's American Woman. It's similar in structure and wording (even the title!)

Still prefer the 1983 mix. Feels more "raw" with the amazing piano performance from Billy and his voice. Espically 2:58-3:18, there's just too much stuff going on while the 1983 mix is just the piano and an excellent performance on the piano, the playing is very passionate and you get to hear that in the 1983 mix.

As a Billy Joel super fan, I love when he's on Howard Stern. Howard is one of the greatest interviewers of all time because he digs into the areas you want to know. And he's a super fan too. When he said Streetlife Serenad as a top 5 song, it blew me away. Probably his least known album. Of course it still went platinum.

Funny how Stern licked Trump's butt for years, until Trump decided to run for president. What a freakin' phony.
