I got them yesterday after much review and lets just say, i did not put them down for hours. I think spatial audio on apple music enhances the experience even more

Focals look sweet. Never been rich enough for a pair but way cooler looking (and I trust sounding) than the Apple cans. And yeah that case is retarded

Is it better than sony xm5?
@arneseifert925720 күн бұрын
the "case" is more like an off-switch. Very Apple-like. For the heaviness, I can wear these headphones for hours. Rather those than light plasticky phones. Bad thing is, the Airpods are horrible on non-Apple devices. Sound quality is not as good an microphone quality is horrible. Within the Apple eco-system, meaning on my Iphone or any on my Macbooks, it is seamless experience and somehow these headphones make it bearable to listen to music on KZbin, which comes with quite lossy compression. Using Apple Music, sound quality is of course much better but KZbin is bearable on these headphones, too. I have the Sennheiser HD 650 as well and those are much more direct. Those Sennheiser headphones just output what you put in. The HD 650 sound more realistic if the input quality is high enough. Even the affordable HD 599 can give you more realism. I still use the Airpods Max within my Apple stuff as they just work. Actually I have them on right now as I type this on my M2 Macbook Air 15". Noise cancelling: It is quite good, but the transparency mode is even better. It is not quite, but almost life-like.

Are they good for listening to house music and techno music and stuff?
@S-r9yАй бұрын
The AirPods Max aren’t designed as professional headphones; they’re meant more for casual, everyday use. They were never built to deliver the kind of precision you’d expect in a studio. Instead, they focus on offering high-quality sound, noise cancellation, and seamless integration with Apple’s ecosystem, perfect for lifestyle listening rather than professional audio work.

Does the M2 Max get noisy with music production in a 100+ track session ? My only worry ( 14 inch if possible )
@salut9658Ай бұрын
Hi I’m torn between this or a Mac Studio, only because I’m afraid it wouldn’t be as quiet, I like the portability but I need something really quiet for music production, will I hear the fans a lot under heavy music production work ? In the 14 or 16 version, thanks,

These are so garbage. I couldn’t believe it when I first put mine on. I was expecting some crazy insane sound and all I got was some lackluster sounding headphones with weak ass bass and terrible max volume. Seriously my 1st gen AirPods sound louder and more bass. Welp going to sell this overrated and overhyped and overpriced iSheep Max. And worst of fckig all there is no fking on/off button…just idiotic.

But the transparent mode is not dynamic, its based off the old chip M1, while airpods have the M2 chip with active dynamic transparent mode. That means you wont break your eardrums if someone screams in your ear. So maybe not so great??
@joshtrix12 ай бұрын
The biggest thing from a music production perspective for me is being able to track with them in transparency mode. It’s a game changer to hear your voice when singing without having bleed. Albeit you need to buy their silly cable to do it

You failed to mention the most important subject here as far as monitoring goes.. What happened to a direct audio input source/headphone jack??.. Since I’m an audiophile and music producer myself I have to dislike this video for not bringing that up. Sorry but as a music producer, you should know how important that is.

Sturdy, though mine only lasted 3 years before they would no longer pair with any device. I did baby them and always kept them charged. Though they started out expensive, the price for them has went down considerably. Have seen them for $399 - which is comparable to Sony XM5 price-wise. I will have to spring for another pair! Just have to have them!

Interesting that people talk about things they hate in a expesive camera. I am a photographer who want to be professional and i am working hard for it . i started with a sony a6100 still using it. i would like to buy a sony a7iv but still to expensive for me. but i am patient :)

It wasn’t a fair comparison :) With the price of a Mac Studio, you can get a Mac Pro 2013 with a 12-core processor, D700 graphics card, 128GB RAM, and a 2TB SSD. Then, upgrade it with an external graphics card since the Mac Pro 2013 supports this. Next, install Windows, combine the two graphics cards for a single powerful setup, and overclock the processor and graphics cards. See how the difference turns out then; they will be neck and neck :) And according to some rumors, even a 24-core Xeon processor works on the Mac Pro 2013. By the way, with OpenCore, Sonoma can also be installed, and you can even play games on it. By the way, a 12-year-old MacBook Pro still has its advantages. Despite its age, its biggest benefit is its very low price and nearly limitless upgradability. With an external graphics card, this device can really fly.

I have a pair of Airpods Max and i use them everyday, at home, at work and commuting - I also am an Apple User at home and work and outside of vinyl apples music services are my main source of music. For me they are the best headphones I’ve ever had for what I need. I also have a pair of Senheiser 600s which I’ve had for a long time which for pure sound quality and listening experience are better - but of course they are wired, and open backed and not suitable for listening other than at home. So these are things to think about - if you just want the best listening experience for the money spend it on some audiophile headphones but that comes with the obvious limitations of wired and open back - no good for me at work and kn the train. I also need the ANC it is amazing, i need it in my busy and noisy office as well as travelling plus its great at home as I have two teenage children!

Try doing a reset. Sometimes if you take out the headband from the headphones you know put a sim ejector tool in the hole and the off the headband and see if the connectors on those two parts are corroded or dirty? If so use some ipa and clean it off throughly and see if that helps?
@markrajfura44438 ай бұрын
Compared to a wired headphone you might be right but you are also paying for wireless and these are one of the best wired headphones out. Wireless is never going to sound (at least not yet) as good as wired headphones. I personally love my headphones. I bought mine refurbished with warranty as could not see paying $550 for them. One feature I hate is the fact you can not turn the off, supposedly in the case the go into sleep mode but have had them not sleep or go to use them and they are dead. I honestly do not see the reasoning why someone would want to use the sound feature where you turn your head it changes the position of the sound. It is neat but really to me serves no purpose. So you figure $200 for headphone and to make them wireless and good wireless roughly another $200 and excellent noise cancelling, and the transparency mode plus excellent comfort, build quality and so on $150 in my opinion. So $550 would be about right. I have heard earlier noise canceling where they actually changed the sound drastically on earlier noice canceling headphones so noise cancellation has come a long way.
