Dove mi consigli di comprare il filo di acciaio per creare il perno per i ciondoli? E se posso impostarlo già a crudo oppure mi consigli a fine cottura incollandolo con apposita colla? Grazie 🙏😊

Love it mate. Your appreciation for masks is interesting. I feel the same. . I love how an expression can be suggestive and that it suffices, in terms of feeling, and understanding. Africa is an enormous source for mask production and theatre as you probably know, but Burkina Faso isn't the most friendliest of places, unfortunately.

Cute, but I'm not a rustic gal. If you put a hole in it, you then place a sterling jump ring in to hang, and it will look nicer. These are very cute pendants, dress them up a little.😁

can we use such pendants without the heating/firing/baking process after they've dried?

@EarthInspired
@EarthInspired 3 жыл бұрын
The time and temperature are dependent on the type of clay you're using and/or glaze…. I don't have a link for the wire. If you search "nichrome wire for sale" online you will find it no problem. 20 to 22 gauge is a great place to start. Thanks! Hope this helps.

Thinking of getting my own kiln (a Paragon SC-3 maybe) and getting into raku beads. 1. Could you tell me what clay you use? (I've only used some earthenware clay from a local art gallery and while I made some pretty cool sculptural jewelry pendants, I do not have a background in ceramics.) 2. Is there a black raku clay?

Just getting started...what type of kiln do I purchase to begin my clay beads and pendants?
@EarthInspired
@EarthInspired 3 жыл бұрын
That's not necessarily an easy straight forward answer. All depends on what kind of clay you're using. I've got an electric kiln I use to bisque fire the clay. Then I have a raku kiln I built out of an old electric kiln that I fire the glaze with. Good luck and thanks for watching.

It all depends on what kind of clay you're using. If you're using a non fired air drying clay that would be fine. The clay I use is intended to be fired.... if I don't fire it, it is very fragile. Thanks for watching! Good luck!
