Hey, any chance you could see the pack odds on these? Curious what the odds are of pulling his /25 Topps chrome refractor out of the box topper in hobby boxes if that’s where your packs came from. Pretty cool that that is his rarest Topps chrome card. With rookie cards now having a million parallels! Nice blast from the past video 👍

I know that there were only 50 cards in the Chrome box topper set. They are numbered to 599. I still have the Lastings Milledge (sp?) card I pulled in its original clear package. I didn't realize there were refractors numbered to 25. I'm confident that I have the box somewhere. I'll have to look to see if it has odds listed.

Love the Ryan's. How didyou send that ttm? A bubble mailer and did you include another inside with a return shipping label?

I put them in one-touches. Placed the one-touch inside a bubble mailer with a return mailing label that I printed off shippo.com. I then put the unspoiled bubble mailer inside of a larger bubble mailer and mailed it to the foundation.

By the way, PSA grading is so inconsistent, that they’ve almost become the joke of the industry. Many are shifting to SGC, and CSG for better grading.

Finally! A sports card grading video that doesn’t fill the screen with 2022-3-4 modern day cards. Totally sick of that crap. I instantly subbed and liked your video (and channel). Thank you for sharing some older, more vintage graded cards with us folks who actually know the players.

I have a couple thousand cards from 1981 to 1986 and the surfaces are overall bad and with the lousy borders make good cards hard to come by. I have the stars and rookies in sleeves and top loaders, maybe I will send in my best for grading someday!

Excellent video and very good letters, I particularly think that PSA are a bit strict but I say this because of the shared videos... I have bought PSA but I have never sent any to be graded....I wanted to ask you something, how much does it cost to grade with PSA ? Does it depend on the value of the card or is it just a fee for any card? Thank you

As a Washington State collector I like the Averill, and as a knuckleball collector I like the Haines. He is one of just 4 knuckleballers in the HOF. Although I thing it's fair to say he got in due to have friends on the committee.

My grandfather used it as a bookmark in the 70s and found it in a book in the early 90s when he gave it to me. It has a slight warp/bend to it that’s not visible to the camera.

Aww, look at you with that great hat! I did watch the Kevin Costner baseball trilogy recently, but I haven't watched Major League yet this year -- I will soon. Obviously my favorite as well. I should probably finish up the James Earl Jones baseball trilogy while I'm at it.
