In my experience they are both equal in realizability it’s the just the fact that the Euros cost more. Plus the Ducati has no issues other than the aftermarket exhaust. Broke it once try to fix it the cheap way and now it bites me in the a**. So it’s really on me.

I hope this run is something you only do once in your life because I did it twice and lost my car the second time. By some miracle I only had my ear sliced in half, a separated shoulder and broken thumb, but 10 years later I almost died from a blood clot bc of the separated shoulder damage so take it from me, you only get so many stupid stunts before the consequences hit

I'll share my painful new rider story so any new riders can learn from it. I had a motorcycle safety course scheduled but I have to reschedule it now. Got a vulcan 650s for my 1st bike 1 week ago. Started in a parking lot. Then moved to my neighborhood. I ended up riding to some other small towns over the course of a few days. I was being cautious, practicing some stops without stalling the bike. Doing well. And then three blocks from my house I went to turn out of my development in first gear going about 10 miles an hour. I shifted in the middle of the turn not knowing the damage that it could cause. When I let the clutch out, the throttle caught and jumped me probably from 10 Mph into 30 + in about 15 ft straight into a curb. I launched over the handlebars and landed on my shoulder breaking it in four places. I also broke 4 bones in my other hand. I bent the rear brake pedal, and dented my gas can and front rim. Now I'm pretty much incapacitated for a month and I'm not sure how many extra weeks it'll take until I can ride again. I had full gear at least but I made a really uneducated mistake and it cost me dearly. New riders, if you're reading this, learn from my mistake. Don't underestimate the power of your bike. Unfortunately I didn't know better and now I'll remember this for the rest of my life. Not a good way to learn firsthand.
@Clockwrk58
@Clockwrk58 3 ай бұрын
Not to sound rude brother but i believe the first mistake was riding a bike without the safety course, i just got my license last week and during the course you learn all the basics to a bike with the friction zone, getting used to the power, how each one is different, how to shift and everything else. I never touched a bike until that course and it helped me dearly. All instructors said they cant recommend a bike because theyre all different and that you should just always ride in your skill level and try your best to outweigh the risk offset. Dont ride crazy, practice in a lot if you want and practice turning and all with the bike to get a feel for it. Sit with the bike off and try each gear out and always grip the clutch in case you need to come to a stop. Hope you recover sooner than later and be safe on the road!
@ezlo90
@ezlo90 3 ай бұрын
@@Clockwrk58 I practiced plenty for several days. but I definitely should have gone with the rider course. It's actually still scheduled but I need to reschedule it. Ironically if I had just waited until the course I would have been riding overall, faster and longer. I made my bed, don't have much choice but to lie in it, but I'm definitely looking forward to being healed and taking the course.
@Clockwrk58

@@ezlo90 I never rode a bike in my life until the course and i went with MSF. It helped build confidence and the instructors were amazing. It felt like I've been riding for a while with them and they help you so much and want nothing but for you to succeed and be safe. Dont be dissuaded from one mistake because it's how you learn. You'll recover and be on the road in no time. The course was so much fun and you'll love it. You'll learn a lot. Be safe and I wish you a speedy recovery.
