The Manifoil can be mounted Vertical Down (VD) the last number you would dial on a VD lock is 25.

Hey mate. I've been given a decomissioned one of these dial lock safes and I would love to be able to use it rather than throw it away as rescuing it was my intention. You mentioned a friend had managed to use this method. Was it just a trial, or did he manage to get into a safe using this method? I could do with some tips as i've not much idea where to start. Thanks

Tganks for posting this. Iv recently pulled one of if these locks from a scrap pile. It took me an hour or so to figure it out, and now i have the combination. Its a brilliant piece of engineering.

Very very cool. I was interested about the viability in a mounted dial. Cool to hear it’s been done. You’re in a league above Boro. Absolutely brilliant.

You might want to consider changing the camera angle - your right hand is obscuring pretty much everything you're doing, so we can't see a thing except your hand moving about. A historic open, but the video spoiled by almost total inability to see what's happening.
@boro77483 жыл бұрын
That was not unintentional, as i do not want to show the tool and how it works off just yet.

@@boro7748 Aha - in that case, fair enough. :) Nice job, though.

That's amazing! Fantastic job there 👍 I would love to see a video with more in depth background explanation of your picking journey of this lock, how the tools got exactly like this etc. Subbed and again congratulations on an awesome job 👍
@boro77483 жыл бұрын
I am not planning on publishing the tool for the forseeable future to be honest. But i think if you know how this lock works and what i did in the video you might be able to figure it out by yourself.
@EdocDab3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, no worries. Just liked what you did there a lot and I like the background stories. It's clearly well above my current skill level but I do have a bit of an idea of how it works indeed. Anyway thanks for sharing this video and again congrats on the picking you showed here 👍

Thatr's amazing. Congrats! It almost took as long to get the tools in/out as to actually pick the lock...

And there it is! Finally, the video I have been waiting for. 🤩🍻 Great job picking this thing, boro. I could not believe a tensioner that thin would be usable. Is that music wire? Also, I admire how you stayed that cool after picking the lock and during the gutting. 😎 My hands would be shaking even touching it. 😅
