They were a blast to make… it’s a different KZbin now than it was 14 years ago… I was in middle school when I threw these together…. No way I could make them now without getting all sorts of copyright strikes etc

how do you make it go "shooo doo doo doo doo doo doo" intsead of just one big "shoooooooooo", is it better/more airflow (e.g. induction kits and intercoolers) or higher power (bhp)?

The "STUTUTUTU" is compression surge. The sound occurs when there is no way for the excess air and pressure to escape after the throttle plate closes, the air then travels back to the turbo and gets cut by the turbine still being driven by the exhaust gasses, significantly slowing it down and causing turbo lag in the process. To counteract this, a Blow Off Valve or Bypass Valve is used to eliminate the compression surge. A Blow Off Valve dumps all that extra air back into the atmosphere creating that "PSHHHHHH" sound whereas a Bypass Valve recirculates that air that's not getting used back to the intake.
