A little bit update, Funleader ver. called "Artizlab Classic 35mm f/1.4", the name seems copied from "Artralab", "Artizlab Classic 35mm f/1.4" idea is a Leica 35/1.4 ver.2 with a infinity lock. "Artralab" is a label from Hong Kong with OEM at China. It's all happened at once 2025.

@@ngterry9653 I was thinking for a while before bought this lens as coating and glass are the fatal cause to China lens, they can copy exactly the same as original optics. Until I saw some samples and bought one more China lens. During the test, I felt like the original steel rim, I got three before (different ver.), optics preferences exactly the same as original yet the glass and coating seems better than original from 1960’s. Totally unlike L.L.L. 8 elements which felt like China lens and resell it right away as L.L.L. Is too far from the original.

@kepahk my prediction is optical performance is very similar yet, coating fomrula is from different generations. Peace optical might be slightly more vivid and contrasty than original steel rim, which I never play with.

Thank you very much for doing this comparison review. I have just bought an excellent copy of the nikkor 45mm GN based on your review. For a long time i wanted the 45mm ai-p. But it is too expensive. And it seems the GN is better built.

Review: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qGOvZ4CQqbampck When you're taking portrait, you will find that GN is not close enough. That why I bought a 45MM Ai-P, it's lovely with closer focusing distance and modern Nikon coating. Take your time to find a cheaper one, it's about double the cost of 45GN. instagram.com/p/C3G4t_1Ptez/?igsh=MWlnMHB6ZWdyZXlyZw==

@@kepahk sorry i didn't specify that i was talking about the 35mm lenses. The only review when they compare the apoqualia and the slim brass, the reviewer praises the apoqualia 35mm 1.4 and trashes the slim brass II. I would want to know your personal experience. thanks!

@@riosrios6106 Thanks. I did have 35/1.4, 35/1.3 II & 36/1.3; Ver.1 yet it's still the best among 3 lens and it's very close to the performance of Summilux 35/1.4 ver.2. Ver.2 I guess everyone knew the problems of the aperture ring, however, one thing I like it most is its focus ring, it's very easy and comfortable to focus especially using it on mirrorless camera; For rangefinder camera, it still prefers to use the little stick as the focusing hand may block the viewfinder. As the performance more or less same as ver.1, I sold it right away. Ver.3 It's modern design with close focus distance to fit mirrorless camera daily use. Good looking lens which look better than ver.1, I think. It has two halo rainbows (Leica Glow) when aperture wide open, step down 1 aperture will become 1 halo rainbow until f/2.8. I think most people can still easily got one when compare with ver.1. I want to keep 36/1.3 however, I don't need two 35mm lens. If you don't have any of MS Optics 35mm, 36/1.3 is the best and only option nowadays. kzbin.info/www/bejne/mWPCppKZaamWobcsi=55eiJbrupsbpWod0

@@riosrios6106 When you're talking about Minolta 40mm, I don't think it's a good lens. If any chance, do try Konica M lens as the color rendering is close to Leica. If you don't mind "Made in China", there are two 28mm small lens in a very cheap price which can be use instead.
