A quick update: after retiring from Bexar County, Texas (San Antonio) as a Licensed Court Interpreter, Spanish-English (Master designation), I earned a Ph.D. in Foreign Language Education at The University of Texas at Austin. I'm a permanent resident of Taiwan and have taught English (and sometimes Spanish) here. Now building a portfolio career--online teaching, brick-and-mortar teaching and tutoring, various kinds of writing, etc.--so I thought I'd look up Dr. Kimes on KZbin and see what business advice he has that might work for me. Just as with his chiropractic care, I wasn't disappointed! FYI, I have easy access here to chiropractic care, massage, foot massage, many varieties of exercise (we have exercise equipment in public parks over here!), and excellent health insurance that covers a lot, even some of my TCM!

The reason why chiropractors get such a bad rep is because most aren't as skilled as you guys. That being said if it is continually ridiculed then the most talented people aren't going to gravitate towards the profession.

In the UK there are no mandatory vaccines, BUT the schedule for tiny babies has kicked up massively in the last few years, which concerns me greatly. In my opinion, the worst one being thE MMR recipient age being dropped from 18 months down to 12 months. I never vaccinated any of my 3 kids, the oldest is 30, as back then I had REAL concerns about the age, the mix and the schedule GPs wanted to put our tiny, vulnerable baby through. I told them to swivel! The way I saw it, hygiene around our baby was imperative, as he was so vulnerable. The hrs I spent sterilising his bottles, dummies (pacifier), toys, pre boiling water to make up his formula, were in their hundreds, and then Drs wanted me to let them inject sh*t loads of crap in to him, just didn't gel for me. I am so glad I stuck to my guns
