At $40,000 (without a lens or viewfinder), it had BETTER be all of those superlatives...

Hello, would you buy a new DPA2017 for 930$ or a new mkh416 for 790$? I know is older but is also discounted. Thanks.

This is more of a mouth on than a hands on.😊. Try using your hands more in a hands on video.

Sorry to disagree.... as with most PTZ's the image quality and general capabilities of the camera are poor in comparison to a broadcast camera solution. To me, the image looks grainy and soft. Dynamic range is low. In this case, encoding might be a mitigating factor. However, I've seen footage directly from these cameras and the issues are the same. I am shocked by how poor it is coming from a camera that retails for $14,000+. In my opinion, what you are paying for is the versatility of connection options and remote control.

I don't know what church you go to. But where I come from we were doing great when we finallly got a Mackie 3204. I don't remember what we had before that. But I'm pretty sure it was new when the Beatles were still in grade school

@DJCuhhhstin9562 ай бұрын
Yes, its built in and powered by Dynacord which is a sister company of Electrovoice. I believe it has about 30 different effects and sound EQ’s built in. You can change it all at the speaker directly or right from the EV smartapp on your device. I love these speakers, i have 2 12s and 2 8s

This system with installation and infrastructure is probably $275k-$300k. I'm not sure that makes it affordable for most churches. In terms of cost per seat, this is one of the most expensive solutions you can implement.

This new immersive system has transformed worship in our sanctuary. I have worn earplugs in almost every church I've attended for the last 15 years or so. I don't now. The system gives us a full "immersed" sound without putting pressure on my eardrums. The adaptive/immersive system is truly life-changing for participating in our worshipping community.

This is the first time I've heard of this console. Is it comparable to an Avid S4 or S6?
@cruelolol4 ай бұрын
It's in a completely different class of product. The Avids can be considered hybrid consoles as you can use them in many types of applications, whereas the Lawos are first and foremost broadcast consoles and are the European standard for such mediums. You're now seeing them in the states because they have been making aggressive pushes into the west lately. I like Lawos, but I've also used Calrecs and Studers, which are the current competitors to Lawo. All of them sound amazing, but the workflows are very different from one another. Finding which workflow serves your needs best is what it really comes down to when you're at these kinds of price points (not cheap at all)

Good video. Having owned the A9III for about three month, I can confirm it is an epic camera. I would go as far as to say, the A9III is Sony’s best video camera save for ports. The image is great. The exposure latitude matches the Red V-Raptor-X. It is the ultimate sleeper.

The FX30 is most certainly not a DSLR. It is not a Digital Single Lens Reflex camera - it does not have a mirror that allows you to look through the lens via an optical viewfinder. It is a mirrorless camera. It is also not really a great photo camera. It does not have a mechanical shutter, which makes a pretty marked difference in photos just by itself. It's advertised as a cinema camera and has the side ability to take photos.

Compared to a full size line array, is there a big difference with this one? What is the coverage like? Does it have range? Can large events be held? How many boxes should I use to cover a live band with good sound pressure outdoors?

man when i heard "for the student ministry" i was so confused becasue what student ministry needs that big of a console. then i realized how big the student ministry was. Because at my Church we use Grand MA2 On PC Command wing (we are getting our MA3 on PC Command wing next month) in our main services in the morning but we use a Jands Stage CL in our student ministry.

Watching people in religious cults are cringy. Switch Jesus with Santa and that’s how I feel, in case you dom’t know what I mean. (You being a religious freak.) I disagree about you not having to EQ a d:facto. To the contrary. They are very plain, but very detailed. For good and worse.

Have watched a couple of your videos and one common thing i have heard is ptz companies sending cameras to churches to test. Is there a way to have such in Canada. My church is going mirrorless soon from camcorder, simply because I have used my Sony FF mirrorless cameras for a few concerts for the church and now want to invest into them. I have thought of ptz, but dont have good experience with those. A trial of either canon or PTZ optics to test could sway the decision for me. but not willing to spend tight budget to try it out.
