the talking point of minimum wage in Portugal is also confusing for people outside the country. It should state that the problem is that the average or worse off the median (!) salary is also below 900 eur/month! But. The portuguese mindset and spending priority need to be looked at as well. I moved to the country in 2018 with my foreign, but very eastern-european income, which is actually lower than the portuguese salaries. Still managed to rent a room in a shared apartment and live life. Most of the young people in other countries can`t afford to buy their own flat before 30 either, it is not a government-given right. I was listening to many of my portuguese friends complaining over the years that they simply can not move out from home. All the while, they want to live alone from the get-go, they do have cars, drive everywhere, pay gasoline, going to the shopping centers is a weekly program and eating out and going to cafés is in the culture. Don`t get me wrong, it can be your priority. But there is a way to at least leave the family house. The other problems I can totally get behind and I know well how it feels not moving forward in life. I am just stating, that I think most of the portuguese would benefit in widening their view of life, going abroad a few years even. The country HAS to chose better leaders, change the way of talking about politics, not just like a oh-well-what-can-you-do mindset but demanding what is needed! Going to the streets. Being loud. Going to the CM and asking why things are not getting done. Not just accepting life. Making politicians create long term goals and tactics for the housing market, renovation packets, etc. Stating that everything is bad is first of all not true, second of all doesn`t help. There can be things done, but everybody is just waiting around, complaining.

It is so grotesque that these activists think that they have the right to speak on behalf of everyone that happens to have the same sexual orientation as them, as if we're all some type of a club, or "community" that has managed to lump up the most random types together such as gays, lesbians, transexuals and people who color their hair funny. In truth this is just a radical left identitarian political movement that seeks to gain power and spread marxism and anti capitalism. I've even been told by these people that I wasn't "really gay" because I disagree with them, as if being gay has anything to do with what you think about socialism. Talk about a communist dystopia.
@enentr15 сағат бұрын
Please stay respectful here - just as you think that they can't speak on the behalf of everyone you can also not say that all of them want to "spread marxism and anti capitalism".

More people would actually be accepting of pride if it was decent, and just a pure celebration of love for everybody, without the half naked people, sexual innuendos, transvestites and gender bending costumes. Just beautiful people straight bi and gay holding hands showcasing the beautiful colors of the rainbow. Just my 2¢ and I’m gay myself. I support Ukraine defeating Russia and defeating homophobia.. Edit: my comment was not meant to exclude trans. Trans people have existed since the beginning of time and of course they are included with pride. But T is a different plight than lgb. T introduces the questioning of gender deniers, pronouns, and the destruction of masculinity and femininity thanks to the lunacy of the American left and these are toxic connotations that I want to keep lgbt far away from.

As a Ukrainian i would love to say honestly how i feel about this parade, but unfortunately KZbin censorship would ban me for that. So let's put it mildly. I find this parade of extremely poor taste, it is absolutely out of place and i have no idea who and why organized it. From inside it feels almost like some sabotage organized by Russians. Yes, it is that bizzarre and awful. People are dying left and right, country has sunken in corruption, life expextancy, birth rate and population numbers are plummetting and these insane people are thinking about parades? If they wanted to be hated - they've achieved it. And everyone i personally know feels the same way about it. Shameful, diabolical thing and huge blow to Ukraine's image.

Even during a war people should be able to stand up for their rights and to be able to ask to be treated equally. In the video we also talk about gay soldiers who are share their struggles during the war and how they wish to be respected. For example, when someone's same-sex partner is wounded or killed on the front-line, they aren't involved in any medical or burial decisions, don't get compensation, and the state won’t tell them what has happened to their partner. Don't you think this is a valid concern that should be heard?

You explained the period before 1974 very briefly. This was really important. You must explain what Greece is doing. You did not say that Turkey's intervention in the island was a necessity. Cyprus President Makarios has a statement. He said that Greece was responsible for what happened on the island.
