Always loved the Bird of prey, probably the 2nd most iconic Star trek ship after the Enterprise.

Im glad the XL came with a stand. The standard one didnt and now my pylons are i bit bent.

Its been a few years for me to be at this stage, but it is a fun build overall, and worth the effort. Im waiting for magazine 29 to be despatched.

I hope it goes better for you than my Gt40. I got pack #7 last October.... Since then Ive recieved nothing even though they charged me for pack 8 in December. Repeated emails and calls to the company with same scripted response.... They have Escalated my inquiry and will get back to me..... Also....as per company policy even though they cannot supply the remaining parts, they WILL NOT REFUND FOR THE FIRST 7 packs... So basicly Ive got around $1000 worth of parts I can wipe my ass with.

I love watching other channels views of these models. this was the last model i needed to get to finish my set. Its so wrong as a model, but i really needed to get this one.

So, I went to DeAgostini's website, but couldn't find the Enterprise in Japan or America (I did see the 1/6 Mustang. That's tempting.). Any chance you could put a link to where I can order this one?

I Stated the subscription but cancelled after the thrid install was going to be delayed 2 months. Also found many faults in the design of the nacel parts (incomplete build of parts.) and areas spipped out. They nolonger were offering to buy many stages and the total time to build this would be 18-24months. Not woth the Cost of $49-69 per shipment. Good luck in your build.

I like the Aerowing you can see it every time you see the bottom of Voyager. It is a shame we never got to see her fly, seems silly that they would have a ship like that and never use it. I understand that they had a budget for the show and never saw fit to use the aerowing because they would need an interior set for it and a model as well, all very expensive. That is more than likely why we never got to see Captain Picard's yacht fly. For it to make sense in my head I assume that the Voyager needed so many parts after the Caretaker incident that aerowing was cannibalized and rendered unflyable.
