Nice rant! The South side is a bit spread out and gets pretty warm. If you go back, try the routes up higher on the N side, for example, Punsola-Reniu on the Cavall Bernat, or the routes on Gorro Frigi are quality and fun.

@@RenatoUtsch então.. todos nós tbm pensamos isso.. mas nesse momento, tinha uma cachopa de marimbondo, e muitos deles voando ao redor perto da parada onde ela foi picada. Daí achamos que era alguma espécie de marimbondo que deixa o ferrão... Mas não é certeza, pode ter sido uma abelha mesmo

No momento da extração, use algo delicado como uma pinça para puxar o ferrão. A sensação do veneno se espalhando da-se pois quando tentaram retirar o ferrão, apertaram a glândula de veneno que fica presa na extremidade dele, inoculando uma quantidade maior da toxina.

Olha eu sei que é um lugar um pouco remoto e talvez vocês não tenham nada pra ajudar mas poxa, quando você tira o ferrão com o dedo, essa coisa em cima do ferrão é a bolso do veneno que ainda fica funcionando e injetando veneno, então quando você tira com os dedos você injeta mais veneno ainda de uma vez, o jeito certo é tirando com algo plano e de lado, como um cartão qualquer ou até uma pinça.

@@JorgePacker Yeah... a 9b "warm up" to the crux is what it makes this route a benchmark, many hard routes have easier (perhaps longer) sections before the crux. "Longer but easier sections" before crux can be trained to save effort there. Instead a route like Perfecto Mundo requires some quite well consolidated 9b+ skills to send it. Those kind of routes are important as a grade reference, only a few athletes in the world are able to send the extreme grade for a generation of climbers, so it's quite nice when that community agrees in what's a reference.

@@prof.eurico hard to say because he's already worked on gancho perfecto a while back, which shares half of the route with perfecto Mundo. But I know he had a very good session last month, where he fell at the slab at the top because it was wet... Now he's been trying it for a full week (one rest day), and will probably come back early next week. That's all I know

Anyone who degrades natural spaces by screwing pieces of plastic into the rock should be severely fined and forced to return the rock to its previous state, to deter other people from making such a mistake. Likewise, any climber should refrain from climbing this rubbish and choose instead one of the thousands of natural options available. Nature is not a gym, respect!
