My ancestor George Woodley served with the 1sr NJ volunteers. He fought in the south as well. He went to Nova Scotia then on to Niagara under Simcoe's leadership. He married Christina, the daughter of Col Wagers. Settled eventually in Norfolk Township, Ontario having served the duration of the Rev. War and was granted land there.

Louis Streaky Gatto with his son along with his Son in law Alan Grecco are from my neighborhood.. Streaky Gatto was a gentleman , most of his operations came from Peter LaPlaca , strictly gambling, he operated in Paterson from one of our club Napoli, he also had a grip on Lodi Garfield Clifton.. very low key guy .. Where i reside now I live a couple of blocks away from Abner Longie Zwillman’s home 50 Beverly rd in WO .. Richie the Boot’s home is not too far from me also , the Sopranos was based off of Richie the Boot not the Calvacante family.. many stories came from the Boots history.. the man was ruthless, he would kill his victims on his compound and burn their bodies then take the ashes and scatter them in his tomato garden

These people are called frauditors. They’re a bunch of idiots looking for clout thats all. The very few comments that i see here are obviously supporters of these idiots. Yeah i understand that policy doesn’t trump law and that we are allowed to follow the plain view doctrine but what ever happened to human decency and just plain respect for others privacy. Like I’ve said in so many of those frauditor troll videos is that these scumbags need to be shut down and arrested every time they try doing this and claim they’re journalists. SMH.

as a general rule, public libraries are public spaces, and individuals are allowed to film in public spaces, provided they are not disrupting library operations or violating any laws or regulations.
@janetbirckhead840711 ай бұрын
I have just researched this for the policy revision that is underway at my library. In New Jersey, libraries have been defined by the court in Kreimer v. Board of Police of Morristown, NJ as a limited public forum. Because a library is a limited public forum, the library is "only obligated to permit the public to exercise rights that are consistent with the mission and purpose of the library." Case law in other states may differ.
@drexellay542311 ай бұрын
Policies do not trump constitutional rights
@janetbirckhead840711 ай бұрын
That is true, but not all spaces in which people exercise their right to free speech are treated equally in terms of the First Amendment. Restrictions on speech in a public forum, such as on a public sidewalk or in a public park, receive strict scrutiny by the courts. Strict scrutiny requires that, in order to be upheld, the law or regulation must "serve a compelling state interest." On the other hand, courts have held that speech in a limited public forum, such as library or post office, may be restricted in time, place, or manner. Restriction of speech because of the viewpoint expressed is ALWAYS unconstitutional. No, I am not a lawyer, but I am a librarian who has just finished researching this.
@TroyJScott8 ай бұрын
Damn straight. It’s a public funded building. Our rights don’t end where your fear begins
@drexellay542311 ай бұрын
Every library is different. However, it is considered public space and the courts of ruled that filming is allowed inside a library, a post office, a police station in the public. It is a constitutional right. Just because the person is standing up for their rights does not make them a sovereign citizen man. You are well based on this one
@drexellay542311 ай бұрын
Taking photographs and video of things that are plainly visible in public spaces is a constitutional right-and that includes transportation facilities, the outside of federal buildings, and police and other government officials carrying out their duties
