Hey man it's been almost 2 years, we're really worried :( I hope you're doing good, and I hope we'll see you again soon on KZbin. Your tutorials were always amazing. I hope you'll continue to make videos, I'd even sign up for a patreon. Please let us at least know that you're fine

Very good video, but its difuclt to understand the movement of the cameras when you dont see it in real time.

I really like at the start how it kind of has half and half dark and how its animated when you switch between text. Im not sure if you covered it because I kind of had to skim through the video but it would be great if you considered showing how you made the first clip you showed to preview it

Dude, I think that you have done a little mistake, because you set “input transform “ like a rec 709. But you had exported EXRs in ACEScg. Your input should be ACEScg and output should be rec. 709

Amazing tutorial I learned so much! If you don't mind me asking, whats the lowest sample rate you would go to still keep the high quality look this type of animation deserves but save some rendering time?

Thanks for this! It's really helpful for some personal projects I'm working on. Just a small note you could have made the second vector file from the first in illustrator! Just select the path and go to Object > Path > Offset Path and put in a negative number. I use it all the time for outlines since it makes a group of the new and original paths.

nice tutorial dude. Any idea how to constraint the XYZ rotation after collision? So basically they would collide on frame 1 with force to hold together with gravity. Parallel camera / Z depth vibes so image will feel as if they are knocking into each a other but Z rotation. what is your thoughts on this please?

Ngl, the Illustrator bit is extremely confusing when trying to lower the res of the text. I contracted it in Photoshop, then tried to export as "paths to illustrator" and when I drag the file in illustrator, it just shows a box of the canvas, no text.... Im so lost on that part!
