The edge sliding at the start is absolutely useful!! Without this video I would never of known! I wander why such a useful mechanic was so hidden lol

This is a great modeling tip. Unfortunately, it still doesn't do what I need it to do. Blender is great, but issues like radial arrays are so frustrating. Update: I was able to finagle this to do what I needed it to do. Cumbersome, but it worked when nothing else did.

I think the algorithm in grasshopper is much more concise and easy to understand. But this is not quite the right comparison, by the way. Grasshopper uses vector objects, which require more computing power. The advantage of vectors becomes noticeable on curved surfaces. And here you can also use mesh geometry objects in GH, and then everything will work much faster.

Hi Dimitar, I have just come across this and it is awesome! It has very practical applications for architecture with distorted wall or roof framing. But I would really like to know how to put a profile onto the lines joining the two curves. This would really add to the functionality of it. (An H profile for steel or a simple rectangle for a timber wall frame). Can you point me in the right direction to execute this??

Hello, great video. Thx for sharing. Question is the hook modifier being applied only to the pavilion geometry? I'm using blender latest version. But I am not being able to apply the hook modifier correctly

I like the idea for using plans outdoors, but everything I can find says to use it only below 95 degrees F. That's not good for onsite use.

Hello, Sorry if you have covered this in other videos, I was wondering how your blender models translate it to drawings

Hi, at the moment, there are various different solutions, none as good as proper CAD or BIM. BlenderBIM can do drawings. There is also MeasureIt_Arch, and also Archipack. However, I usually tend to do drawings in Rhino or sometimes freecad

do not buy it, there are far better options. even data transferring/syncing cost you with the monthly subscription. and even if they "gift" you the subscription for free for a year, you cannot use it, if you do not have a credit card, which most continental europeans do not have. they dont even offer PayPal etc

Hey sir, I checked your website and I'm really eager to learn, but unfortunately I cannot afford them as your price is 20times the price in my country which is super expensive. R13622.35 in South Africa. Would it be possible for you to make prices differ according to different regions/ continents or first, second and third world countries? It would open doors for potential architecture students in poverty stricken environments. Thank you

Previous one solution was actually right one. One of the most wrong use case of Repeat Zone nodes is to create this kind indices. Users actually should use node groups with just one `0123456789` instance geometry and instancing on points with using math to pars values to indices of digits. This is such both for performance reason (just computing of indices much faster than overhead of repeat zone) and for memory usage (we do not reuse the same digit geometry in instances for different calls of `String to Curve` node).
