Solved it without the relay workaround .. Pull the Green PCM Plugin on the Right .. Carefully , Cut back the wire sheathing.. Check the Yellow wire / Orange stripe specifically for a barespot or short .. Found it on mine , taped it up and NO MORE PO882 .. Hope this helps someone , It drove me crazy for 6 months !!

This is the hard way. Just drop your tie rod end and ball joint. Loosen strut mount it pops right out.

Excellent video. The beam attached to the alternator is only for support on the engine/transmission.? You did not lift it from this support beam ? It just allows the support as you remove the engine mount bolts and allows the pan room to drop.. I will watch the video again since I have debris from the chain guides. Aluminum and plastic materials are in the pan and mostly likely the pickup screen which must be cleaned. How difficult is it to put the pickup bolts back in. I am going to change the oil pump since it has 147,000 miles and aluminum pieces/ grindings which are not filtered pass thru the oil screen . The oil pump receives unfiltered oil from pickup.
