I ❤ Toad The Wet Sproket. It's the wierdest name indeed! 😂 They are named after a Monte Python skit. (I love the show Scrubs too!) TTWS is very deep. Dulcinea is my favirite LP by them. "Begin" and "Inside" are two of my favorites. "Walk on The Ocean" is my favorite off their Fear LP. If you like this song, I would recommend checking those songs out too.

Sexy groove and rhythm, with a touch of solo steel drums. EW&F is outstanding.

This album brother, Faces, the critics for this album totally wrong. This album is a straight gem through and through. This album got me through some tough days for real. This song, Take It To The Sky, is the jam that stayed on repeat whenever I was in my ride by myself. Trust and believe, when you listen to Faces again, you’ll get the healing jams plus that goodness that only Earth, Wind and Fire can bring. Oh yeah, this is the last album that the rhythm king official, Al McKay, was on before he left the band prior to 1981. Nonetheless, great reaction brother man 👊🏾

I'm going to say it. Lowdown is the greatest single of the rock/R&B era. From Jeff Porcaro's ghost notes. His fills David Hungate's thumping bass. The clever songwriting of David Paich and Boz. The immaculate production, engineering. Louis Shelton's guitar solo. Boz soul vocals. The backup singers. Everything is locked in place. Paich's keyboards. What a jam.

I don’t think people realize how much 90s R&B meant to the white community. Jodeci and Keith Sweat alone got this white boy more action than I would have ever gotten on my own. Thanks for making me the Mack back in the day!

This version is the best version! Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis are geniuses. The R Kelly version takes the sultry, sensuality, softness, sexiness, and seduction out of the song with the mid tempo beat.
