Before sasuke had Itachi eyes implanted his original ms gave both amatersu and flame control whilst Itachi had amatersu and tuskuyomo. Each ms has 2 unique abilities for different eyes such as obito left eye which kakashi had allows him to port people into other dimensions whilst obito right eye and allows him to phase through place because it allows him to affect himself as well. summary obito left was able to do longer distance and right was for short distance when use. Also both cancel each other out. We never got to see shisui's second ability. All of this is confirmed if you reread the manga and anime.
