Where I lived back then, *The Weather Channel* was on Channel 41. I was 13 at the time, and I still loved life. I hate life nowadays. I miss watching this channel in the 1990s mostly. I might have also watched it in the 1980s, but I remember the *Prevue Guide* channel more from the 1990s. While I miss the 1980s more than the 1990s, the latter decade still gives me a heavy dose of #Nostalgia (along with #NostalgicDepression). This channel is just one thing from the 1990s that I miss a lot. I also miss the aforementioned Weather Channel. Back then, it was a 24-hour "Weather" channel without the propaganda, lousy programs (at least, in my opinion), and sensationalism they have today. I hardly ever watch TWC today. Back in the 1990s, I was quite obsessed with it, just as I was with Prevue Guide. I want a #TimeMachine so that I could take it back to the 1980s and the 1990s again.

First, one thing about Pittsburgh stations, regardless of which one, is that you are guaranteed to get either shots of Downtown Pittsburgh (what a sight to behold, by the way) or some form of black and gold theme to it. WQED was so perfect to do this, especially their closing logos. They looked to give up with that joint ID with WQEX, though. Someone just didn't have the time to care, apparently. For one of PBS's flagship stations (that gave us Mister Rogers, after all), the station deserved better than to have such a cheap ID. Good thing their next one was way better. The other thing is that I wish WVPB was in this (West Virginia Public Broadcasting, including WNPB in Morgantown). They were good at incorporating the locale, too. And did they ever take advantage of their area.

13:11 Wow, not a lot of people I've seen have that logo for WTAP in Parkersburg. Most have the one they were using up until very recently. They did use that in an NBC campaign themed animation for a time before they made the logo switch. Never seen them use that one in front of a locale of Parkersburg, either. Nice find!
