The brackets for these blinds really aren't great. There isn't enough clearance from the wall when drilling pilot holes, so you end up scuffing just like in the video. BlindsbyPost you can do better then this!

Having all the same issues. If tightly in place can’t use the chain to roll up/down blind. If make it looser than just falls down. Also the tightener keeps spinning when roll the blind. I almost put it through the window but have left it on the floor for now collecting dust

Hi, I have just installed this blind, but one of them will close or open, but will not stop at a staggered level. I have tried to adjust the tension as advised in the manual and this video, but it does not seem to help. Any suggestions?

These Blinds By Post twist and fit blinds are useless. Either too tight for blind to operate or too loose to stay in place. Helpline also useless. No one got back to us and closed all bank holiday weekend. Huge mistake buying these.

I bought mine from Blinds 2 Go, I left them a bad review on Trust Pilot to which they replied to and asked me to contact them which I did. However, I got no reply so the companies that sell them must know they don’t work.

We only need these blinds for the summer to keep the bathroom cool. Are they easy to take off for storage purposes? Also, what tolerance is there if your measurements are out by a few mm?

Hello, these blinds are only suitable for Velux, Keylite, Fakro, Dakstra & RoofLITE windows. You will need to check you window code before purchasing.

If you think your roof blinds have arrived with no fixing kit, open box at other end, it's stapled inside the flap! Also, despite being pre tensioned, one of mine was stuck solid on 1st operation, a bit of fiddling with the 'stop' had it up & running...

@@dafinchimusic7480 Each side of the blind has a length of cord with a metal 'bit' near end. You place the metal bit into the lock space at the bottom of each side rail. The cord provides the tension. Sounds as if you need to loosen the tension. Hold the locknut in your hand, then use the supplied 'allen' key to loosen the black nut inside the small metal bullet shaped thing., this will allow you to slide the metal bit up/down the cord. You only need very small adjustments, a few mm at most. If too tight, slide it slightly towards end of cord, then tighten again. Slot it back into metal side rail. Just trial & error till the blind slides nicely, and keeps it's position no matter where you leave it Admittedly, this video is very weak on showing how to do this, as it doesn't even show a close up where the locknut is inserted into the side rail!

I have just fitted one of these and have an issue. Once I have secured the tightener, it appears to apply pressure to the blind which prevents it from rolling. Loosening the tightener helps but then the blind becomes unsecured and slips when rolling the blind.

I ordered a no drill blind from another company and I have the same problem. I checked the size and then so did my other half and the size is correct it’s just that a no drill blind is great in theory but not practice.

Like these for upstairs bathroom where there is no neighbour windows looking down. The top glass windows can be left without blind allowing easy opening. Also top windows could be clear glass.
