I saw Robert Plant live in 2009 with his Band of Joy. He had just had surgery on his voice and sounded really good 👍😊👍

Robert Plant was still awesome. But that chick was no substitute for Sandy Denny. Thumbs down I'm afraid. 👎

It is a beautiful love song that Page wrote, and Plant wrote the poetry ( lyrics ) and melodies, making it a Page/ Plant collaboration. Personal stuff should mean less when it comes to art. They have their lives and history and should be private. Andy Johns and Jimmy Page nailed this love song with the Zep guys. Long Live Zep II. It's brilliant, and was my girlfriend's fave Zep tune. When I perform it? I say " Hi " to the heavens before I begin it.

@2.14 Robert waverers a bit , I only found out Sandy played on this Zep track because of Bob taking over from Johnny walker on sounds of the seventies .

*I have a Live at Cropredy LP, the female singer on that collection is excellent. Fairport Convention did several songs from their many LPs, one standout track the guest singer performed with the band was "Come All Ye", pretty sure the female singer was NOT this woman. The singer on the live at Cropredy recording sounded so much like Sandy Denny.*

A happy memory of Jude is at Cropredy, I think 1982. "Ashley - What song shall we do Judy" "Judy - how about the one we've been practicing all week?"

I went to watch Page & Plant in 1994 the unledded tour with the Egyptian orchestra it was amazing and they did this track as beautiful as it was hands down this version(the original) with Sandy is possibly my favourite track back closely followed by No Quarter. The queen of folk music Sandy is a national treasure
