Nice game and great commentary again Phil. I do think luck was a bit one-sided here, but thats the name of the game sometimes. As for your question what I would like to see; I am a (very) casual x wing player and would love a tutorial on how to fly certain ships. How can you predict where a ship will land. How to joust and what to do if you don't joust. I heard you are a big fan of Delta CLT's, I am too, but "how" do you fly them? How to use swarms effectively? Etc. At first I thought this would be flight academy, but realized fast this was another gameformat you use for short games (which I think is awesome, by the way). Thanks again and keep up the great content.

Hull breach says "Before you would suffer 1 or more hit damage, suffer that much critical hit damage instead." Maarek Stele says "While you perform an attack, if the defender would be dealt a faceup damage card, instead draw 3 damage cards, choose 1, and discard the rest. Therefore you would be "DEALT" a face up damage card" so Maarek's ability would pop on each crit. Also and VERY importantly, you "DISCARD" the rest. You don't reshuffle them into the damage deck as you did here.

When you are ioned, you lose all locks but any locks on you stay. Gas clouds remove your locks as well as any on you which is what sometimes causes confusion. So yes, you can still lock an ioned ship. Also, you can decloak while ioned but are still restricted to focus actions so phantoms do not get their free evade action. Whisper could have take the ion and not gone over the rock on the following turn. How come finch didn’t get ioned by their own bomb?

ablative plating says “Before you would suffer damage from an obstacle or from a friendly bomb…”. It’s damage only, not effects

In a standard game, yes, you can only have 8. This is a "home brew" game, so we took a few liberties. Additionally the most ships the empire will have on the board at one time is 7.

A tough match up. I think the Delta 7 is a very challenging ship to fly without the 7b variant.

Original Poe would do better but is too expensive T70 in general seemed a good shout but against this Anakin build it's tough.
