Mildly disappointed this version wasn't in X-2. Would've been a really great contrast to the original. I'd also be excited about a collab of both versions so you get to hear both male and female vocals to get the best of both worlds ❤️ Even if it's a tribute to reiterate past endeavors of X(2) for future Final Fantasy games that can tie in with that particular story arch/chronology~

You may be right. This retains original hypnotic and alien feel the og had but with real instruments. This is one of few tracks that imo didn't work well in remakes, this is prog rock, not a symphony you know.
