This is the 2021 model i believe, from that year they use the nmax engine which inly has 12hp as opposed to 15hp all the previous xmax models, but the xmax is also a lot heavier than the nmax, which makes 110kmh. However, the engine here cuts injection at 10500rpm, and this xmax doesnt go all the way there, which means there power loss in the transmission that does not allow the engine to use all it’s revving power.

Euro 4 xmax 125 is much faster hits 100 kph at 8rpm and tops out at 125kph

it was 2018 mt 125 with full Akrapovic , no problem to 135kmh , and it doesn´t take as long time as it with the stock exhaust,much better performance

XMAX from 2021 have just 9 kw...thats the Problem....The fastest or me was 104 km/h GPS...nearly 112 Tacho

This is the problem with most new bikes because of euro5 they reduce performance. I had the same problem with Kawasaki Versys

Riadne ho dobabrali znizenim vykonu - lepsie povedane slabsim motorom.... Mam 2018ku a ta dava tachometrovych 120, niekedy aj kusok viac. Alebo cca 115 podla GPS. Ak ta rucicka lezie ledva ledva nad 100vku tak bez GPSky by som naozaj mal pochybnosti ci vobec tu 100vku da.

I have a 2021, I get it to go a lot faster than that. It's difficult to get it to wheelie, so I just get on it real hard all the way. I haven't timed it but I have owned many motorcycles. This one is very quick for the type and size of bike it is.

Great test. I'm wondering if I should buy Yamaha Tech max or Honda forza 125. I watched 100 videos but have to test both scooters. Thanks again for this video.

Thank you for your comment. You should definitely test each one, because I bought the versys without testing and it was a huge mistake. Not that it was bad but it didn't fit me at all. ✌️

I tested before euro5 motors (2021) and XMAX was more comfortable but slower but Forza was steady at 100km/h climbing on a high hill and reached 120km/h on a straight motorway. The Forza 2024 version has the top speed at 108km/h due to Euro5 On the other hand XMAX now had the nmax motor so is even more slower

Thank you for the comment, the higher rpms go along with the speed (at 90 km/h 9000rpm) These are the capabilities of this scooter, I went all out. Maybe with a different variator ...
