Thinking of buying one of these, how does it work now, I have heard lots of complaints about another mixer, just wondering how this works months later.

The hood is attached to the beater blade - actually I haven’t tried too hard to remove it for fear of breaking the blade

I just bought one of these mixers - works fine at the first try out but one annoying item is the hood on the top of the mixer blades - the hood is so big it interferes with the items you are feeding into the feed tube when the mixer is running - had most of what I was adding on top of the hood and not in the bowl.
