I was just helpin a friend find some unique rocks on a small island, and then i found this small little heart rock, i said look this one's a heart but she wasn't impressed, she made her own little collection of her favourite rocks from there but me who wasn't even looking for rocks felt really connected to this heart. I brought it home but I'm not yet sure what the message might be

Repent and believe the Gospel, sir. You are not a Christian, nor is your homosexual son. You literally love what God hates (i.e. prenatal homicide, homosexuality, Universalism, etc.), and hate what God loves. It’s not a matter of legalism; it is a matter of the doctrines of grace and biblically sound theology. The gospel isn’t to be a social justice warrior. The information you are sharing is not what “knowingJesus” is all about. I also came out of a very a , legalistic religion. It’s not about leaving that “religion” and going into what you are advocating. You don’t know what accepting Jesus is. You would say because I am advocating for Jesus that I’m being critical. Living for Jesus is freedom, peace and love

Virtues and Vices are the same thing for all types. People that value emotion frequently over value emotion, and it WILL cause them (and others) problems. Extremes of any virtue can become a vice. It's important for all types to moderate themselves. I just used emotion in the example, because from my perspective it's the most obnoxious to deal with. To me, feeling an emotion is like reading a compass. It gives me a datapoint, points North, and I can adjust my direction based on it. But I'm not a slave to the compass, and I'm not constantly running North. Just because you FEEL an emotion doesn't mean you have to/or should act on it.

I would agree that acting out is not always valuable but action is required by emotions. No action is a form of numbing. The action doesn’t have to involve anyone else. It can be simply an act of feeling it within your body and acknowledging and noticing it. Your feelings matter and you are right that that doesn’t mean you get to act out because you “feel” like it. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Type 5 thinking is amazing!!

Paul wrote “The Shack”. It was made into a movie. Both awesome and well worth your time. Paul also did a series that walked through the movie - a deep dive - it’s called “Rebuilding The Shack”. I highly recommend it.

I'm so excited for this series! I am a Reiki Master and a Karuna Reiki Master. I'm also trained in Therapeutic Guided Imagery Kundalini Yoga. Recently I learned of the Heart Centered Therapy through Robyn Johnson and the more I learn about it the more I am in love with it! This is my language! I kept feeling like I had a mental block in my learning and as I've learned more about the Heart Centered Therapy I have felt so strongly that no, I don't have a block, I was just not looking in the right direction... I was looking and focusing on receiving answers and impressions in my mind instead of my heart! I felt like something was wrong with me. Here I have all these gifts that Heavenly Father has blessed me with and I didn't know how to use them. It feels like a door has opened and a whole new avenue has appeared! The answer is through the heart! Thank you, thank you!

@@jocelynflowers Now my whole life doesn't evolve around the enneagram but it is definitely fascinating to hear these accurate assessments about yourself. What do you think would be a good career path to go down as a 5? If something fascinates me I'll spend time on it, research, find all the loopholes and advantages within the system, and become good at it. The issue is the obsession about finding out what is REAL, so I may forget to or have no desire to eat for example. A career where I could dig for information and maybe go down that rabbit hole of possible ideas to come to an understanding.

@@joshuakimmich3360 Yes, I think a suitable career would be one that requires our mind to dig deep into information and apply all of it into solving problems. I totally feel the same as you and need something in my life as an outlet for my quest for truth. I’ll share what I plan to do😊. I am in school to become a Speech Language Pathologist. I am caring, good with kids, a good listener, and feel like I have a healing energy to me so I decided Speech Pathology is what I want to do. Especially because Speech Pathologists work in their own office, so I’m kinda secluded from others for the most part, unless I am with a patient of course. This makes me feel relieved because I operate best when I’m in an environment that has less people and more quiet. However, I plan on going back to school, after receiving my Masters in Speech Pathology, to study religion and philosophy. I also plan on creating an Astrology Readings business in the future. Astrology is definitely an outlet for my quest for truth that I absolutely LOVE. I can spend hours and hours researching astrology, it’s one of my passions. I’m already giving birth chart readings to my friends, but without charge because I want to practice my delivery and I consider myself learning things still.
