Linda Carter looks just as babe-o-licious today as she did back then. I (and virtually every 10 year old boy back then) was completely in love with Wonder Woman. And a lovely woman too.

I love them and grew up watching them, but what Linda said about being the first isn't really true unless she means women in action / superhero type roles. As someone mentioned below, there was Lucille Ball, Mary Tyler Moore, and Carole Burnett. And what about That Girl, Julia, and Maude? Women were certainly on TV in lead roles before Linda and Lindsay.

I would have said Elizabeth Montgomery was. She was the lead player in Bewitched. Although it had an ensemble cast, she carried the whole thing. Dick York was replaced because his back difficulties made it impossible for him to carry on. Other regulars popped in, were back and forth, but Elizabeth was central to it's success. Only by some miraculous feat of magic could she have been replaced.

Ah, she's so wonderful. The Bionic Woman was great because of this creative clash (actually a great synthesis) of Wagner's emphasis on humanism and Jaime's character and the network's stress on science fiction, uncanny plots and amazing bionic stunts.

Thank you for this video throwback with Lindsay Wagner and the other one with Lynda Carter. Both are outstanding pioneers. They channeled their fame well and used them as real superpowers for good. Lindsay and Lynda are kindred spirits. Also in their small club of pioneering women are Angie Dickinson and the women of Charlie's Angels, Kate Jaclyn and Farrah. They are all truly beautiful people inside and out. That Lindsay and Lynda are still acting when they choose to is proof of their staying power and lasting true beauty.

Lindsay is shock an incredible person. I hope I can meet her at a con one day.

Most of us would like to freeze the ageing process. Curious..what was YOUR favourite age and why? Mine was age 29 the year I interviewed both Alfred Hitchcock and John Lennon. I did Hitchcock`s LAST one to one and I spend 12 hrs with JL. May not be his best interview but certainly was his longest!
