I love 60s pop rock. Of course I do. I'm a literal child of the 60s. Hey Hey We're the Monkees. Not every little ditty stands the test of time. Actually, this one wasn't so good in the first place. And capable guitarist Rick Derringer ended up a sideman to a freak act named Edgar. I refer you to They Only Come Out at Night.

Elvis does great! Has a real nice smooth voice. Problem is the way he says "Suspicion". Hate it! Terry is smooth from beginning to end! He has my vote a million times over!!

I like to listen to this song when I can, because it's kind of a turn on to know what Tom Johnston likes, or what he once thought was attractive. But, in this particular video, it shows this beautiful Native American Indian looking woman, but true Cajun women are from the Louisiana Bayou, which are usually a mix, or of light skinned black women, (one of my former boyfriends loved Gelato chicks), so I would be curious to know what this young lady looked like, who Tom was singing about and attracted to, because he wrote the song. Especially the part when he says, "I'm gonna know you better". Wow! That sounds exciting, because that indicates that he is definately "staking his claim"! He will have success getting the girl!

Crying for all the lives lost for our country. Their sacrifice should be remembered & honored always. Those children losing their dads broke my heart. Military families have to be so strong and self-sacrificing. God bless them one and all!

What's great about this number is Neil wrote it while on tour in West Berlin. Just like he wrote "Ohio" in 30-minutes, after seeing the Kent State Massacre on the cover of Time magazine. One of the most prolific songwriters of all time.

I am really not in a position to judge that. ;-))) Both are really great and so similar. O.K. Terry. But Terry indeed satirizes the "King's" attitude in a unique way, so that then and still even today I'm not in a position to distinguish - as hard as I try.

Great tune from a former great band. Too bad michael mcdonald joined and ruined the band. Jus sayin

When lead singer songwriter Tom Johnston had to leave the band because of ulcers, they brought in Michael McDonald to help finish the 1976 tour. Tommy didn't come back the following year so the band decided to keep Michael as the lead man. If they didn't make this decision it's very likely the band would have stopped, and vapored into history and they would have not got back together again. Yes, I was heartbroken, and angry when Tommy left, but I had to humble myself to the FACT that Michael saved the band and it's future.

I think that Michael McDonald is nice, and it's generous of the band to welcome him in, and since he plays a good piano, then why not? I think that Michael has a good personality too, doesn't he work well with others?
